The Coming Conservative Supreme Court

Politics is a down-in-the-dirt blood sport and we’ve now got someone in office who looks to be playing that game for our end of the political spectrum.

The left lives by abusing power and taking the rules of political processes and twisting those rules for naked advantage.  So for many decades, brazen gerrymandering of state legislative districts and congressional districts assured Democrats for almost a half-century of unbroken control of the House of Representatives, with all the mischief that brings.

Now the left whines about how “undemocratic” gerrymandering is, but no one in his right mind believes that a misty-eyed love of democracy motivates this whining.  Instead, Democrats see decades of minority status in that same House of Representatives because of Republican gerrymandering – a vice Republicans repeatedly called to end during their long years out of power in state legislatures and in the House of Representatives, which was met by howls of laughter from Democrats.

Conservatives have learned the same lesson regarding the federal bench, especially the Supreme Court.  These conservatives for decades sought the best jurists for the Supreme Court while leftists sought the most reliable ideological hacks.  Today, the four leftist jurists vote virtually in lockstep on all important constitutional cases.

President Trump, with his list of acceptable Supreme Court nominees, has ensured that ideological trustworthiness and not some notional brilliance in judicial thinking will guide his nominees.  He will be picking nominees for at least the next three and a half years – and if Hillary seeks the Democrat nomination, then likely the next seven and a half years – and he will have a Republican Senate almost certainly through the 2022 midterm elections because of the state configuration of Senate elections in the next two general elections.

According to Miami County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Eric Lachey, a call came in from a woman homeowner at approximately 5 a.m. Monday that they believed someone was in their home. While the woman was on the phone with 911, her husband went to the garage and encountered a burglar.

Lachey said as there was no sign of forced entry, they believe the male suspect entered the home through a “doggie” door.

Chicago Experiences Bloody Memorial Day Weekend Despite Police Presence

Chicago saw approximately 52 people shot during Memorial Day weekend, despite a heavier police presence throughout the city.

Seven people died from their wounds in a spate of violence that lasted from Friday evening to early Tuesday morning, reports NBC News.

One victim, a 15-year-old boy, died from a gunshot wound in the back as part of a drive-by shooting in his neighborhood Sunday evening. A 16-year-old girl who was with him at the time was also shot in the back.

The violence worsened Monday night when 13 people were shot during a four hour period.

The Scandal Hiding In Plain Sight

There is a deep irony in the fact that Democrats are hysterically demanding investigations of President Trump and his campaign team, and in fact multiple investigations are now in progress, even though there is zero evidence that anyone associated with the president has done anything wrong. On the other hand, we now know for certain that the Obama administration weaponized the intelligence agencies in order to use them against political opponents, in a manner that is unprecedented, highly dangerous to our democracy, and criminal.

This scandal, which dwarfs anything of which the Trump team is even suspected, has been exposed and lies largely in plain sight for all to see. Yet it has generally been greeted with yawns, if acknowledged at all, by politicians and commentators.

Kathy Griffin fits right in at CNN

Wolf Blitzer and his staff fantasized about Trump’s assassination months ago.

In a segment two days before the inauguration. Blitzer and his “Situation Room” staff did a dream sequence in which they imagined someone killing Trump, Pence, Speaker Ryan, and Senate President Pro Tempore Orrin Hatch — Republicans all — just after Trump took his oath of office, which would leave some Obama Cabinet appointee president.

From Breitbart News on January 18:
Blitzer introduced the segment, saying, “What if an incoming president and his immediate successors were wiped out on day one?” and from there, CNN contributor Brian Todd took over to outline the line of succession if an attack blew up the inaugural dais, killing both Trump and Pence.

The upshot was that in the case of both heads of state being killed, the Secretary of State would take over. Currently that man is Secretary of State John Kerry, But in case some objected because his office would also end as of noon on Inauguration Day, then it would be the Speaker of the House — Republican Paul Ryan — or even Obama’s Under Secretary for Political Affairs Tom Shannon.
The report also noted that the designated survivor appointed by the Obama administration could also become president in the case of a disaster. So, in CNN’s analysis, most of the people who would take over in the worst-case scenario would keep the Obama administration in power, at least indirectly.

As you can see, Griffin represents the network quite well.

‘White Supremacist’ Portland Stabber Was A Bernie Supporter, Threatened to Kill Trump Supporters

The “white supremacist” who stabbed three people in Portland is actually a Bernie Sanders supporter who hated Donald Trump and threatened to murder his supporters.

While the top result for murderer Jeremy Christian is an article from Portland Mercury which paints him as a Donald Trump supporting white supremacist, his Facebook posts are all over the place and show he supported Bernie Sanders.

After Violent Attack, Portland Mayor Calls for Abandoning First Amendment

Again, the proggies don’t care about any civil rights but for themselves.

The mayor of Portland, Oregon, has strong words for those who would sow fear in his city and attempt to shut down citizens’ rights to free expression: “I surrender.”

On Friday, two men were stabbed to death on a train in Portland while confronting and trying to calm down a man who was allegedly loudly harassing two young women with anti-Muslim comments.

Mayor Ted Wheeler’s response to this brutal attack was to essentially tell the world that violence can successfully be used to convince the government to shut down civil liberties. In a rather self-absorbed speech Monday that treats this horrible but isolated event as though it were some sort of mass slaughter deserving of a permanent monument and some sort of “leadership” by politicians, Wheeler is demanding that the federal government cancel the permits for a couple of upcoming “alt-right” rallies in Terry Schrunk Plaza.

He flat out said in his comments that the city would refuse to grant rally permits to alt-right groups based on their views. However, the plaza right by Portland City Hall is actually federal property, and Wheeler is trying to get federal authorities to revoke the permits for the groups involved in a pair of June events.

In response to those who point out that the alt=right has the same First Amendment protections as the rest of us, Wheeler actually says, “Hate speech is not protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution.” (It’s at about 6:54 in this clip of his comments.)

There is no “hate speech” exemption to the First Amendment, and it’s bad enough when poorly educated college students believe that there is. We don’t need politicians who run cities reinforcing the idea that such speech is not protected, because it feeds the idea that violent protests against certain speakers is therefore some form of heroic rebellion. He reinforces the mentality that threats, and even just fears, of violent responses are acceptable reasons to prohibit public protests.

This excuse is used by authoritarian regimes everywhere as a mechanism of suppressing speech. Once you send the message that violence will be used as a pretext to shut down the expression of certain opinions, violence is exactly what you’ll get. Turkish authoritarian President Recep Erdogan claims that anybody speaking out against him is part of a violent plot to remove him in order to justify using government violence back against the critics.

“Don’t get cocky, Kid.”

Wake up, liberals proggies: There will be no 2018 “blue wave,” no Democratic demoncrap majority and no impeachment

“…weeping and gnashing of teeth…”

We received a message from the future this week, directed to the outraged liberals of the so-called anti-Trump resistance. It was delivered by an unlikely intermediary, Greg Gianforte, the Republican who won a special election on Thursday and will soon take his seat in Congress as Montana’s lone representative. (Here’s a trivia question to distract you from the doom and gloom: Without recourse to Google, how many other states can you name that have only one House seat?)

If you found yourself ashen-faced and dismayed on Friday morning, because you really believed the Montana election would bring a sign of hope and mark the beginning of a return to sanity in American politics, then the message encoded in Gianforte’s victory is for you.

Kathy Griffin (purported comedienne) Beheads President Trump

Insert obligatory reminder that anyone on the right holding a representation of the severed head of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton would be absolutely crushed by social media and the DNC-MSM, and find his or her career at an end. Funny though, how what Michelle Malkin calls the left’s “assassination chic” is always given a pass — if not outright ignored — by the “objective” media when the president has an (R) after his name.

And remember back when a Rodeo Clown wore an Obama suit and the proggies freaked out? Yeah, Hypocrisy, thy name is demoncrap.

Kathy Griffin wants Donald Trump’s head … but she wants it bloody and detached from his body.
The comedian posed for the gory shot during a photo session with famed photog Tyler Shields, who’s known for edgy, shocking pics. We got the pic before the release.
During the photo shoot, Kathy joked that she and Tyler would need to move to Mexico once the pics got released, for fear they’d be thrown in prison.
Trump’s critics have skewered him for inciting violence with his speech. Did Kathy do the same?

So MI5 has identified 23,000 Jihadis in the UK. I’ve got a solution for them.

Deport them all.

When you advocate violence against the population in an attempt to set up Sharia Law (essentially another government under the guise of religion) you need to be sent where that kind of crap is tolerated or accepted.
The FBI told these British inbreds – in January – that the Manchester bomber was an imminent threat. Being paid to attend college that he wasn’t attending, and no one caught it? He’s wearing new clothes in the pictures just prior to the blast, and some say he was wearing $400 tennis shoes. Must pay pretty good, the RamaLamaDingDong circuit.

Other reports say he had rented three properties over the last handful of months. Nothing suspicious there, huh? He was part of the gang of mental midgets that intimidated and threatened victims of Muslim rape gangs. No reason to lock him up and deport him there, right?
He is traveling back and forth to Libya, but he has no job or recognized income?

And here we are, unable to block these useful idiots from getting here, thanks to judges who are violating the Constitution, denying POTUS the right to exercise his legitimate duties in protecting the country, and are about to double the number of ‘refugees’ being imported, which are economic refugees more than fear for their life refugees. And even if they are the latter, the only reason they exist is because these throwbacks can’t get along with anyone, even themselves. Sunni, Shiite, Salafist, Wahhabi…the list goes on. They’ve screwed up every country they’ve run, and now they’re opening franchises throughout Europe and are doing a fine job of getting here too.

They are going to start popping off here. Most of their attacks to date have been simpleton moves. Fort Hood, San Bernardino, the Boston Marathon bombing, the Chattanooga recruiting office, a gay nightclub in Orlando, the Ft. Lauderdale airport.
The recent announcement is calling for those here to “attack them in their homes”, meaning us. The intent is – and they come right out and acknowledge it – is to relieve the pain they are having from us striking them where they live by having us forced to divert resources here instead.

I called it a long time ago. These losers are going to start shooting sprees in selected ‘soft’ targets to instill fear in the populace. BIOregan has long posited this – where I just kept it to myself – hoping the FBI (who, in spite of all the fail as of late, I think is our greatest hope) would protect us all. The mongrels acquired firearms in France, use explosives when they can’t, and have used both here.

It isn’t going to take much for their berserk ideology to bring down the last vestiges of freedom we have. They have no respect for human life, our way of life, laws, and have no real intent to assimilate.
They’re suing for being arrested for making mock briefcase bombs and over pork in pizza. Setting up Sharia law and courts in their host countries. Trying to kill people who draw cartoons. How does any sentient human being think it’s a good idea to allow this murderous culture to exist anywhere inside out borders?
We’re paying these heathen to come here and live among us. And now we are doubling down. It is insanity of the highest order.

And before anyone initiates the ‘Islamophobia’ rant, I don’t give a rats ass about anyone that comes here with a moral compass. Back in the 70’s and 80’s, both before and after the Iranian islamic revolution, I knew and worked with a lot of Iranians and they were some great people to know. One, I ran around with in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia with, visiting as many Revolutionary War and Civil War sites as we could afford to. He loved America, was serving in the U.S. Army like me, and was serving at NTC Irwin after I had gotten out. I also trained the Saudi’s, UAE and the Egyptians on the AH-64’s they purchased. About half were enamored with America and it’s offerings.

They aren’t all bad. But about 300 million of them (about 1/3 of all Muslims, and nearly the equivalent of our entire population) by a Pew research study I analyzed several years ago, showed that that many either advocated America and infidels worldwide be razed to the ground or enslaved into Dhimmitude, or were actively participating in the attempt to bring that about.

It’s time to stop kidding ourselves. I just wish we would stop bringing them here without extreme vetting. Have them take an oath, let them know that one peep of Islamist fundamentalist crap and they’re on a slow boat back with their entire family, and if they plot or commit acts of terror, they’re going to get the bad end of the stick.

So, 23,000 identified wannabe’s. How many does Germany have? France? Europe? It’s a joke. Merkel, who is on the fast track to be re-elected, just said Europe could no longer count on England or the United States (to go along with the globalist destruction of human freedom). She said Europe would have to “Chart their own destiny”.
I’ve got news for you, you already have. And you’re beginning to see it now, in spite of your best attempts to suppress it. These ‘migrants’ have no allegiance to you or your people. They intend to take it over. And I’m not so arrogant to think we aren’t far behind; I’m just hoping that our own government is smart enough to know what needs to be done to prevent what is happening there, from happening here.

We are a huge experiment in human freedom. the first of it’s kind in history. And the little totalitarians of the world can’t stand to have us be the shining city on the hill, casting shadows on their pettiness.

Memorial Day. Celebrating and remembering in reverence the ones that did not come home – and hopefully, the ones that did. And a salute to those currently out there.

God bless America.

FYI to our readers in Pennsylvania.

Yes this clothead is a Republican Tyrant.
And you always know when the words ‘common sense’ are applied to a law about gun, it’s a anti-gun law, not the opposite.

Santora proposes law to extend gun background checks.

A bill to extend criminal background checks to all purchases of firearms was formally unveiled on Tuesday in Harrisburg.

The measure introduced by state Rep. Jamie Santora, R-163 of Upper Darby, would add a paragraph to section 6111 of the state code, sale or transfer of firearms, to include a background check for the sale of all guns. Current state law requires a background check for the purchase of handguns with a barrel less than 15 inches. The bill will also offer a multi-day background check approval for use at lawful gun shows in the state. The bill was presented on the House floor May 18 and referred to the Judiciary Committee.

Santora said it is a “common-sense” bill.

Homeowner Shot, Killed Home Invasion Suspect Who Tased Him

A home invasion suspect was shot and killed after allegedly tasing a homeowner in Kingman, Arizona, around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies said the suspect tased the homeowner “several times” while in the house, but at some point, the homeowner was able to retrieve a gun and fatally wound the suspect.

Authorities have not charged the homeowner, and an investigation continues.

Venezuela opposition accuses Goldman Sachs of financing dictatorship

Well, history tells us that banks ‘bankroll’ whoever they think has good collateral.

The president of Venezuela’s opposition-run Congress on Monday accused Wall Street investment bank Goldman Sachs of “aiding and abetting the country’s dictatorial regime” following a report that it had bought $2.8 billion in bonds from the cash-strapped country.

The Wall Street Journal on Sunday said Goldman paid 31 cents on the dollar for bonds issued by state oil company PDVSA that mature in 2022, or around $865 million, citing five people familiar with the transaction.

That comes as two months of opposition protests against President Nicolas Maduro have killed almost 60 people and the collapse of the country’s socialist economy has left millions of people struggling to eat.

Navy SEAL killed in Fleet Week parachute accident identified

A Navy SEAL who fell to his death when his parachute failed to open during a Fleet Week demonstration over the Hudson River has been identified as a 27-year-old Colorado man.

The accident that killed Remington J. Peters occurred Sunday at Liberty State Park, a large New Jersey park across from Manhattan where people catch ferries to see the Statue of Liberty.

Peters was a member of an elite Navy parachute team called the Leap Frogs. The cause of the parachute malfunction that killed him is under investigation

Withdraw from Paris by Withdrawing from the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change

SUMMARY President Donald Trump is expected to make a decision about U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement after the May G7 summit. The Paris agreement is a costly and ineffective approach to global warming, and both the diplomatic costs of leaving and the benefits of staying have been exaggerated. There are two paths for withdrawal. Withdrawing only from the Paris agreement would take several years, but if the U.S. withdrew from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), it could exit the Paris Agreement in only one year. Pulling out of the UNFCCC is the quickest path to removing America from a costly, unworkable, and ineffective agreement that President Trump correctly said should be cancelled.

U.S. might ban laptops on all flights into and out of the country

The United States might ban laptops from aircraft cabins on all flights into and out of the country as part of a ramped-up effort to protect against potential security threats, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said on Sunday.

In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Kelly said the United States planned to “raise the bar” on airline security, including tightening screening of carry-on items.

“That’s the thing that they are obsessed with, the terrorists, the idea of knocking down an airplane in flight, particularly if it’s a U.S. carrier, particularly if it’s full of U.S. people.”

In March, the government imposed restrictions on large electronic devices in aircraft cabins on flights from 10 airports, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey.

Liberals Are Shocked To Find We’re Starting To Hate Them Right Back

And, apropos of nothing in particular:
“And our side is the one who doesn’t happen to think that guns are ‘icky‘.

I know it’s theoretically wrong for a Republican candidate to smack around an annoying liberal journalist, but that still doesn’t mean that I care. Our ability to care is a finite resource, and, in the vast scheme of things, millions of us have chosen to devote exactly none of it toward caring enough to engage in fussy self-flagellation because of what happened to Slappy La Brokenshades.

Sorry, not sorry.

And that’s not a good thing, not by any measure, but it is a real thing. Liberals have chosen to coarsen our culture. Their validation and encouragement of raw hate, their flouting of laws (Hi leakers! Hi Hillary!) and their utter refusal to accept democratic outcomes they disapprove of have consequences. What is itself so surprising is how liberals and their media rentboyz are so surprised to find that we normals are beginning to feel about them the way they feel about us – and that we’re starting to act on it. If you hate us, guess what?

This is the way the climate scare ends; not with a bang, but a whimper

Yes, a ‘heroic’ multi-billion$$ search that supplied many climate ‘scientists’ cushy jobs for the past several decades.

What does the future hold for the climate change debate? Will there ever come a day when we see the headlines across the globe, ‘It’s Official – There Is No Climate Change Crisis’? Hardly – for unless we find some way to leap ahead in the currently highly immature science of climate change and manage finally to pin down the exact direct and indirect (via feedbacks) warming effect of adding greenhouse gases to our atmosphere and the exact effects of natural changes in our climate the outcomes will remain uncertain. The eminent scientist Stephen Koonin has stated that, ‘Today’s best estimate of the sensitivity [of the atmosphere to the addition of carbon dioxide]… is no different, and no more certain, than it was 30 years ago. And this is despite an heroic research effort costing billions of dollars.’
