Anyone want to bet on whether or not any of the demoncraps running for  president will note what just happened in Australia’s election?

California should have had a major earthquake by now, geologists warn.

As long as it takes San Francisco & LA off the face of the planet when it goes, I can wait a while longer

California’s three most historically active faults haven’t slipped in a century, a hiatus unprecedented over the last 1,000 years, according to a new study.

When researchers at the U.S. Geological Survey studied the paleoseismic records from the San Andreas, San Jacinto and Hayward faults, they failed to find a gap as long as California’s current earthquake hiatus.

Gun Store That Sold Mosque Massacre Suspect the Guns He Used, Sells Out of AR-15 Rifles — the Weapon Used During Murder Spree

And you just have to know the Kiwis are buying all those ARs just so they can do a 180 and turn them in to their government when they’re banned.

Gun City, one of New Zealand’s biggest firearm retailers, say they have run out of AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifles in the wake of the horrific terrorist attack in Christchurch last week.

Radicalization & Degeneration

One of the biggest lies we hear whenever there is a mass terror attack, such as the one against New Zealand’s Muslims, is that the killing was “senseless.” It’s not without reason when ISIS does it, and it’s not without reason when people like Brenton Tarrant, the alleged NZ shooter, do it. The acts are evil, but not senseless; there is a rationale for what they do. To be clear: do NOT read me as saying Tarrant’s acts “made sense” in the general sense of the term; I’m speaking narrowly here, to mean that causation is at work. We need to know this so we can better combat things like this.

I read Tarrant’s manifesto, which is easy to find online, though I’m not going to link to it here. It’s a chilling document, for a couple of reasons. First, it’s grounded in both paranoid, racist grievance, and legitimate, realistic concerns. Second, as with ISIS videos and propaganda, the Internet distributes this stuff worldwide; we may be certain that Tarrant’s manifesto will strike many resonant chords with murder-minded fanatical racists like himself.

Though I don’t want to be part of spreading the manifesto, I do want to talk about a few parts of it, including parts you may not hear about in the media reporting. It’s important to talk about it. I will say here clearly that any reader who in any way attempts to justify this atrocity in New Zealand will NOT be posted. It was a despicable act, and if you pray, join me in praying for the souls of the murdered, and the families they left behind.

That said, some comments on the manifesto (you can read a general NYT report on it here). I read it in the same vein as I read the bloodthirsty Islamist fanatic Sayyid Qutb’s work: as something that we have to understand, because it articulates quite clearly what we’re up against — and that it’s not mere psychotic raving:

  1. Tarrant identifies himself as an “ethno-nationalist eco-fascist.” He says he was first a communist, then an anarchist, then a libertarian, and finally an eco-fascist. He’s 28. This is not a stable person.
  2. He despises conservatives for having conserved nothing. “Conservatism is corporatism in disguise, I want no part of it,” he writes. He adds, in all caps, “CONSERVATISM IS DEAD, THANK GOD.” He also despises France’s National Front, or whatever it’s called today. He calls them “milquetoast.” He praises the emergence of Trump as a sign of hope, but mocks Trump too. He says his idea leader is Oswald Mosley, the 20th century British fascist. Point is, the idea that Tarrant has any meaningful connection to the mainstream right is nonsense. The man is true radical.
  3. He says his aim is to accelerate history by frightening people and creating conflict. In particular, he wants to cause the US to move to take away people’s guns, and the Second Amendment supporters to respond to this violently.
  4. He wants the US to be balkanized into warring racial and regional factions, to destroy the ability of the US to project power around the world.
  5. He was radicalized by traveling in Europe and seeing immigrant crime, by seeing how many immigrants are present, and how the dispirited native populations are dying out. Overcome by emotion, he decided that he must do something about it.
  6. He said he chose the firearms for his attack specifically to incite an argument within the US, leading to the left attempting to confiscate guns, thereby starting a civil war.
  7. He says he is not a Nazi, but it’s hard to know what to make of his politics except to say that he is a national socialist obsessed with race, and hating capitalism. Plus, he loves the environment (“there is no traditionalism without environmentalism”).
  8. This was a brutal slap: “Above all, don’t be stale, placid, and boring. No one is inspired by Jeb Bush.”
  9. He praises the People’s Republic of China as his ideal state.

Here’s the most important line in the manifesto, one that the rest of us had better have a good answer to, because this assertion, in some form, is going to be with us for the rest of our lives:

RADICALIZATION IS THE RATIONAL RESPONSE TO DEGENERATION

What is “degeneration”? According to the manifesto, it consists of:

  1. The decline in native European populations, and native European stock in the US, in terms of numbers relative to non-Europeans within those societies.
  2. Politics and policies within European countries (that is, countries with ethnic European majorities, including the US and Canada) that disempower native Europeans.
  3. Widespread drug use.
  4. The loss of worker rights and stability under the reign of globalist capitalism.
  5. Environmental degradation.
  6. The collapse of Christianity (which he seems to value only as a force ethnically binding Europeans)
  7. Rampant hedonism

Here’s the chilling part: Everything Tarrant identifies as qualities of a disintegrating Western civilization is true. You may think that declining numbers of ethnic Europeans is a good thing, or something that has no particular moral meaning. But it really is happening. So are all the rest.

The Manifesto of the New Zealand Terrorist

He’s a commie

Here’s his manifesto in PDF
Here on the ‘cloud’.
Aaaaand, they’re erased.
Apparently, TPTB decided that no one should easily read it so the propaganda will instead be trotted out.
I did download it and I’m providing a link for you to download it at your convenience.

The-Great-Replacement-New-Zealand-Shooter

Others have managed to see the video the shooter(s) live streamed.

“Weapons:
Semi auto shotgun , 9 rounds and dumped it.
2 AR-15 pattern rifles; first one malfunctioned, he returned to his car parked to the side of the mosque, grabbed the other and went back inside. Multiple reloads.”

“Shooter took the time to try to give everybody a coup de grace.
Was moving like he was playing a first person shooter game, not like he was trained in CQB tactics. “(the manifesto confirms this)

“From first shot to last shot: 5 minutes and 30 seconds. No contact with police, he just drove away.”

Don’t forget to carry at your place of worship, especially the next couple of weeks, because you can always count on a copycat.

Australia Follows President Trump’s Lead, Recognizes Jerusalem as Israeli Capital and Will Move Embassy

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced Saturday morning local time that Australia would recognize West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

However, he declared that Australia would hold off on moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and acknowledged Palestinian demands to a capital in East Jerusalem as part of an eventual peace agreement.

“Australia now recognizes West Jerusalem, being the seat of the Knesset and many of the institutions of government, is the capital of Israel,” Morrison said at a press conference in Sydney.

“We look forward to moving our embassy to West Jerusalem when practical, in support of and after final status determination,” he added while affirming his administration’s commitment to a two-state solution.

Morrison’s predecessor, Malcolm Turnbull, had ruled out following the U.S. in moving Australia’s embassy to Jerusalem.

Seven Dead in Australia’s Worst Mass Shooting in Decades

Yeah, all that Australian gun control  – that the proggies keep spouting we need here in the U.S. really worked

Four children, their mom and their grandparents were found dead in a rural property in southwest Australia early Friday in what authorities were calling the country’s worst mass murder in more than two decades.

Officials found the bodies of two of the adults outside a house in Osmington, a village of fewer than 700 people. The other remains were found inside. Police would not comment on the possibility of murder-suicide, but they are not looking for a suspect.

Officials said police were alerted to the property by a phone call at about 5:15 a.m. Upon their arrival, police found the bodies and two guns on the property.

At least some of the bodies had gunshot wounds, authorities said; but it wasn’t clear whether all of the victims had been fatally shot.

Japan activates first marines since WW2 to bolster defenses against China

SASEBO/TOKYO, Japan (Reuters) – Japan on Saturday activated its first marine unit since World War Two trained to counter invaders occupying Japanese islands along the edge of the East China Sea that Tokyo fears are vulnerable to attack by China.

“Given the increasingly difficult defense and security situation surrounding Japan, defense of our islands has become a critical mandate,” Tomohiro Yamamoto, vice defense minister, said in a speech.
The troops conducted a 20-minute mock public exercise recapturing a remote island from invaders.

The formation of the Japanese marine brigade is controversial because amphibious units can project military force and could, critics warn, be used to threaten Japan’s neighbors. In its post World War Two constitution Japan renounced the right to wage war.

Hawaii Cops told medical pot users to turn in their guns.
Here’s why they changed their minds

My opinion is that they got a car load quantity of flak from some bigshots with both the political pull to get one of the rare Hawaii Concealed Carry Permits as well as being Potheads.

The Honolulu Police Department has been sending letters out to medical marijuana users this year to tell them that they “have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to voluntarily surrender your firearms.”

That includes a letter dated Nov. 13, signed by police chief Susan Ballard.

“Your medical marijuana use disqualifies you from ownership of firearms and ammunition,” the letter read, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Now, that policy is no more, Ballard said in a news release on Tuesday.

Instead, the police chief said her department wants to look over court rulings and talk with others in government to determine the best next steps, according to the Honolulu Civil Beat.

“This is a new area of concern for cities across the country, and we in Honolulu want to develop a policy that’s legally sound and serves our community,” Ballard said Tuesday, as reported by the Associated Press. “Formulating the policy will take time, but we want to do it right.”

HPD tells medical marijuana cardholders to turn in guns

Remember that all the anti-gun proggies always pooh-pooh the concern that registration leads to confiscation? Well, in Hawaii, all guns are (supposed to be) registered with the police. Now, understand that I don’t hold with using illicit drugs, but this?
Can you say; “I told you so” ?
I thought you could.

HONOLULU –
Honolulu Police Department’s telling all medical marijuana card holders who own firearms to turn in their guns.

In a letter dated November 13th new Chief of police Susan Ballard states card-holders have 30 days to surrender weapons, permits, and ammunition to HPD or to transfer ownership.

According to the letter, the only way card-holders can get their weapons back is to get clearance from their doctors.

Japan may have no choice but to shoot down the next North Korean missile test

Just me, but I don’t see the why this journalist thinks Japan is between some metaphysical rock and a hard place. If the missile is in a trajectory that can be targeted, splash it.

After North Korea overflew Japan with a missile launch early Tuesday, the island nation may have no choice but to knock down any further missile launches or learn to live with such provocations.

North Korea has reached a point in its missile development where it can no longer simply fire missiles straight up in the sky as it has in the past. To continue to learn and advance, North Korea must now start firing its long-range missiles on realistic trajectories, which, due to geography, means overflying its neighbors.

“This ballistic missile launch appeared to fly over our territory. It is an unprecedented, serious and grave threat to our nation,” a top Japanese government spokesman told Reuters.

“We will make utmost efforts to firmly protect the lives of the people,” Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told Reuters.

10 missing, 5 injured after USS John S. McCain collides with tanker in Pacific

Something is seriously wrong with current Navy surface training.

Either the command staff (CO, XO, COB – Chief of The Boat) are failing to properly train their subordinate officers and these ill trained Lieutenants literally can’t conn a ship.
Or, the actual intellectual quality of the majority of junior officers is below average and since the best, brightest and smartest ones are assigned to carrier or submarine duty, the rest -those left at the bottom of the barrel- get handed off to the rest of the fleet and the tender mercies of the unforgiving sea .
Or, military discipline is handled so ineptly that junior control officers are, in effect, committing a form of “soft mutiny” in rebellion against what they perceive as toxic leadership and are purposely putting the ship into danger, simply to get the commanders relieved from sea duty.

Ten sailors are missing and five injured after the guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain collided with a tanker east of Singapore and the Strait of Malacca, the U.S. Navy said late Sunday.

Authorities said four of those injured were medically evacuated by a Singapore navy helicopter. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Search and rescue efforts were launched in coordination with local authorities, the Navy said. Initial reports indicated the warship sustained damage to its port side aft, the left rear of the ship.

‘It is disappointing that such language was used so casually’: Muslim group complains to the Federal Police for using ‘Islamic-inspired terrorism’ to describe Sydney plane bomb plot

The utter brazen gall is what’s amazing.

A Muslim group has complained to the Australian Federal Police for using the term ‘Islamic-inspired terrorism’ to describe an alleged plot to bomb a passenger plane.
AFP Commissioner Andrew Colvin used the phrase late last month when asked by a journalist if the four men arrested across Sydney were connected with ISIS.
‘We do believe it’s Islamic inspired terrorism,’ he told reporters as he stood next to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
Three of the four men arrested during the raids have since been charged.

China Protests Potential $1.4B US Arms Sale to Taiwan

I’ve got a number for them: 1-800-Cry-Baby.

China’s foreign ministry has expressed concern over a potential $1.42 billion sale of U.S.-made missiles, torpedoes and missile components as well as support services for various defense programs to Taiwan, DoD Buzz reported Friday.

The report said the Chinese government called for the cancellation of the deal because it presents a challenge to the country’s security interests and does not align with the “One China” policy that it notes the U.S. has previously pledged to support.

Philippines launches offensive in hope of recapturing Marawi by weekend festival

Philippine aircraft and troops launched a renewed push against Islamist militants in a southern city Tuesday, and a military spokesman said the aim was to clear the area by the weekend Eid festival, although there was no deadline.

The offensive came amid worry that rebel reinforcements could arrive in the city after Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Fighting in the city of Marawi has entered a fifth week, and nearly 350 people have been killed, according to an official count. Fleeing residents have said they have seen scores of bodies in the debris of homes destroyed in bombing and crossfire.

Pro-ISIS rebels storm school in Philippines, students held hostage

About 300 pro-ISIS militants on Wednesday stormed a school in the southern Philippines and are holding students hostage, Reuters reported.

Philippine officials say Muslim rebels are engaging troops in a gunbattle in Pigcawayan town in North Cotabato in an attack that may be an attempt to divert the military’s focus away from the militants who have laid siege on southern Marawi city.

Police Chief Inspector Realan Mamon tells The Associated Press by telephone that gunmen belonging to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters raided the village of Malagakit in North Cotabato province at dawn Wednesday and engaged government forces in a firefight. Villagers have fled to safety.
