Biden administration opens another tent city to detain surge of illegal migrants

The Biden administration is facing fresh spikes of over 100 percent in illegal border crossings from this time last year and has opened another tent city to detain illegal immigrants in Texas, US Customs and Border Protection has announced.

The Border Patrol revealed in a report released Wednesday that the number of migrants apprehended at the border in the month of January reached nearly 78,000, up from 36,679 in January 2020.

Single adult Mexican citizens accounted for more than 37,000 CBP encounters, a 119 percent increase from this time last year, according to the agency.

Amid the surge, a new “soft-sided facility” was established this week by the agency in Donna, Texas, to hold individuals originally staying at the Centralized Processing Center in McAllen, Texas.

BLUF:
How is it that all of a sudden, legal fights and claims of machine count biases are no longer seditious and treasonous behavior? Take a look at who it is making these challenges, then check the party affiliation—that is the needed detail in determining whether this is a grave and evil threat to our nation, or a morally correct attempt at correcting an error in noble and angelic fashion.

Democrats Are Challenging Two Elections Results While Somehow Not Attacking Our Democracy

It almost appears that the standards for accusing someone of threatening our democracy, challenging the integrity of the Constitution, and inciting treasonous behavior could possibly be fluid. After months of stern words from the press and clampdown efforts by social media titans towards anyone who dares to suggest election results were problematic, we now see a pair of candidates who are loudly complaining about the results in their elections.

Two things become quickly apparent; there is little outrage heard about these objections, and both of the obstinate candidates are Democrats.

In Iowa, a marginally tight Congressional race has been declared in favor of Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks. Her Democrat challenger, Rita Hart, has taken her case to the House of Representatives to have that body review the election and determine if action needs to be taken. The result of the race was razor-thin—Miller-Meeks won by just 6 votes. Hart, meanwhile, contends there is a district with nearly two dozen valid but uncounted votes that should be tabulated, giving her the victory.

The argument from the legal team of Miller-Meeks is that Hart never took the proper course of first filing claims in their state courts, before moving onto the House. Alan Ostergren, attorney for Miller-Meeks, stated “No amount of partisan spin can change the fact that the precedents of the House of Representatives require a contestant to first present her claims under state law.” A House committee will be formed to look into the results and make a determination.

Less close, but seemingly more intense, was the result seen in another House race, this one in New York. GOP candidate Claudia Tenney has defeated incumbent Anthony Brindisi. The 122-vote margin has led to intense efforts to see this result overturned. Brindisi has taken to the courts, something we have been told since November is offensive and a sign that there is an attempt to upset the natural order of our electoral system and threatens the core of our democracy.

Here’s BLM and Antifa chanting “burn it down” in D.C. over the weekend. Wanna take bets on how many news outlets covered it?

On Saturday night, BLM and Antifa took to the streets of D.C., threatening to “burn it down” if their demands weren’t met.

After shouting for a bit and giving speeches on New Racism™, the crowd began heckling patrons enjoying their dinner.

Apart from its incendiary rhetoric, the demonstration stayed largely in “mostly peaceful protest” territory and no arrests were made despite some scuffles with police.

With that being said, approximately this👌 many news networks covered the news that a large mob of angry peeps were marching through D.C. saying they want to “burn it down:”

Considering the continuing National Guard presence in the city, the installation of permanent fencing, and non-stop rhetoric about the bad actors who broke into the Capitol last month…

Why do you think the media is being silent about this?

Amazon Bans Parler for “Violence” But Allows Kill Trump Merchandise

Always Remember: The Left is projecting on you what they are doing in spades.

Last week the tech giants colluded together in an attempt to destroy social media alternative Parler.
The final straw came when far left Amazon banned Parler from using its cloud service.

This shut down the popular app after millions of conservatives flocked to Parler after Twitter began purging top conservative thought leaders including the President of the United States.

Amazon said it was due to “violence” on the app which is an excuse and a lie.

Ryan Fournier later pointed out that Amazon is selling “Kill all Republicans” on its website.

Amazon has since taken this product down.

And as Newsbusters reported earlier this week they found 204 examples of products promoting violence against conservatives and President Trump.

BLUF:
My tax dollars have paid for this.

Of course, it was only months ago that days of devastating riots took place in Minneapolis, just a few miles from the schools these districts administer. Those riots were infinitely more destructive than the one last week in Washington, but they drew no analogous response from the public schools–certainly not one that criticized the mayor, city council and governor who tolerated and even encouraged rioting and lawlessness. But that’s different: they are Democrats.

THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEIGH IN

America’s public schools are owned lock, stock and barrel by the Democratic Party, so it is no surprise that they are now echoing their party’s line on last week’s events. I have seen several partisan emails from school districts; this one comes from my own district:

Enough with the outrage.

Like pretty much all conservatives, I have consistently criticized riots and other forms of political violence for many years. That includes yesterday’s Washington, D.C. riot. You can’t say the same about liberals, however. Until yesterday, one might have thought that liberals consider rioting and other forms of political violence to be as American as apple pie.

You could write a book in support of that proposition, but for now let’s cite just a few examples. Do you remember when President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017? Leftist Democrats rioted in Washington that day. That riot was arguably worse, more violent and more destructive, than what happened in D.C. yesterday. The liberal rioters destroyed stores, set vehicles on fire and battled with the police. Six police officers were wounded.

I don’t recall a single Democratic office-holder denouncing the Democrats’ Inauguration Day riot, and the Associated Press came perilously close to praising the rioters.

Over the ensuing four years, Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioted countless times, bringing devastation to cities like Portland, Seattle, Kenosha and Minneapolis. Did any Democrats denounce these riots? Not that I remember. Many Democrats endorsed them, or seemed to do so. Kamala Harris, for example, said about the riots in June:

They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And everyone should take note of that. They’re not gonna let up and they should not.

This was after 12 people had been killed in Democrat-sanctioned rioting, and billions of dollars in destruction committed. Have any Democrats denounced Black Lives Matter for its role in the riots? Not one. Has any Democrat denounced Antifa? Not that I know of, and some, like Keith Ellison, have specifically endorsed Antifa’s political violence.

Democratic Party journalists have joined the party’s politicians in excusing riots. The New York Times, for example, published an admiring profile of Antifa. The Washington Post, likewise, has carried water for Antifa.

The litany could go on for a long time. Yesterday’s assault on the Capitol was outrageous, but let’s not forget that last time out-of-control demonstrators interrupted business at the Capitol, shouted down senators and pounded on the doors of the Supreme Court, it was Democrats objecting to the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

[Well Regulated] The pit in my stomach

On December 23, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) withdrew its letter on brace classification from the Federal Register. Many in the firearms world were quick to herald this as a victory for gun rights, an example of the people making their voice heard, and a government agency backing off.

While this is the preferable interpretation of the withdrawal to have, something in my gut tells me that this was not a victory at all. Consider that this letter was provoked by several congressmen sending a letter to the ATF asking for specification as to what constituted the legal characteristics of a stabilizing brace.

It was then withdrawn after another letter (this time signed by 90 representatives) was sent in opposition to the ATF’s “clarification”. Anyone with even a modicum of firearms knowledge could tell by reading the ATF’s list of “objective features” that the verbiage was imprecise and sloppy at best, and maliciously vague at worst. But for such an opinion letter to be issued and then abandoned in a week, with less than a month until the inauguration, does not instill in me any confidence of actual progress being made in favor of gun rights.

In November, the firearms community was made aware that the Biden transition team had met with ATF director Lombardo, and discussed their top two gun control priorities: braces, and 80% receivers. Which is more likely, that the ATF suddenly changed their minds and realized the error of their ways, or that they’re willing to wait a few weeks to implement regulations on gun owners? In firearm circles, the analogy of boiling a frog alive is often brought up: you place a frog into cool water and turn the temperature up very slowly so that it doesn’t realize it needs to jump out.

I’m surprised she has the integrity to quit after being exposed as a hypocrite Most don’t.
Annnnnnd it turns out she really didn’t.
Reports are she’s going to work for Biden, so I’ll bet she’s going to burn up some leave time.

As has been said many times before:
“I’ll think about considering it’s a crisis when people who keep telling me it’s a crisis start acting like it’s a crisis”

Dr. Birx Announces She Will Retire after Holiday Travel Controversy.

Dr. Deborah Birx, the Trump administration’s coronavirus response coordinator, announced Tuesday that she will retire shortly, citing the criticism she received over the weekend for traveling to visit her relatives over the holidays, violating her own coronavirus guidelines.

In an interview with Newsy, Birx said she will assist the Biden administration as the president-elect prepares to take office but then plans to bow out.

“I want the Biden administration to be successful,” Birx said. “I will be helpful in any role that people think I can be helpful in and then I will retire.”

Reports broke Sunday that Birx had gathered with extended family the day after Thanksgiving at her vacation home on Fenwick Island, Delaware after urging Americans to gather for the holidays with only “your immediate household.”

Biden Urges Dems To Conceal Their Defund the Police Agenda Until After Georgia Runoffs

In a recording leaked to The Intercept, former Vice President Biden appeared to blame the “defund the police” movement for the Democrats’ shellacking down-ballot in the 2020 elections, and urged liberal civil rights leaders not to put public pressure on his incoming administration regarding police reform until after the Georgia Senate runoff elections in January.

“I also don’t think we should get too far ahead ourselves on dealing with police reform in that, because they’ve already labeled us as being ‘defund the police’ anything we put forward in terms of the organizational structure to change policing — which I promise you, will occur. Promise you.” Biden can be heard telling left-wing civil rights leaders in the recording. “Just think to yourself and give me advice whether we should do that before January 5, because that’s how they beat the living hell out of us across the country… I just raise it with you to think about. How much do we push between now and January 5, we need those two seats, about police reform? But I guarantee you there will be a full-blown commission. I guarantee you it’s a major, major, major element…we can go very far.” Continue reading “”

NBC Edits Video of Restaurant Owner Exposing NBC Comedy’s Catering.

Over the weekend, a video of Angela Marsden, the owner of the Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill of Los Angeles, protesting the city shutting down outdoor dining with no scientific basis went viral. The video showed Marsden’s emotional plea for help as she exposed how a similar set of tents and tables were set up in the same parking lot to cater a film production approved by the city.

Only part of Marsden’s comments made it onto NBC’s Sunday Today. But reporter Meagan Fitzgerald deceptively edited out Marsden pointing to the hypocrisy with the tents and tables. Worse yet, NBC covered up the fact that the catering was for NBC’s comedy show, Good Girls.

Well, they’re demoncraps, and if they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any at all. What’s surprising is their propaganda organ is calling them out on it.

CNN anchor: What is it with Democrat leaders and COVID-19 hypocrisy?

Pandemic Rules Are Only for the Little People.

We’re expected to suffer discomfort, economic pain, and emotional distress or else pay fines or serve jail time. Government officials, meanwhile, take offense when called out for violating the standards they created……………

Austin mayor stressed residents ‘need to stay home.’ He was vacationing in Cabo at the time.

In early November, as health officials warned of an impending COVID-19 spike, Austin Mayor Steve Adler hosted an outdoor wedding and reception with 20 guests for his daughter at a trendy hotel near downtown.

The next morning, Adler and seven other wedding attendees boarded a private jet for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they vacationed for a week at a family timeshare.

One night into the trip, Adler addressed Austin residents in a Facebook video: “We need to stay home if you can. This is not the time to relax. We are going to be looking really closely. … We may have to close things down if we are not careful.”

In hosting the wedding and traveling internationally, Adler said he broke neither his own order nor those by Gov. Greg Abbott.

But at the time, the city was recommending people not gather in groups of more than 10, and, the day after Adler’s departure, Austin’s health authority warned that “it’s important that we drive the (COVID-19) numbers down in advance of Thanksgiving.” Continue reading “”
