BLUF:
A Representative Republic protects the rights of all citizens, not just the majority, elite or privileged, and is founded on the principle of electing individuals to represent the people. And only elections provide the opportunity for change.

Gov. Newsom, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Mayors Eric Garcetti, London Breed, Darrell Steinberg, and Libby Schaff, appear to show no concern over the economic destruction in the state at the macro and micro level. They show no compassion or empathy for those Californians who are losing their entire livelihoods, or the widespread unemployment, while they and other government employees seem to be enjoying life as usual.

One slight quibble:
“And only elections provide the opportunity for change.”
No, there is another solution. The question is, will these morons dabbling in tyranny understand their hypocrisy and change their minds before someone decides to take an opportunity to change them using a different method?

Two Californias: One for Government Ruling Class, the Other for the People

Last week we had Salongate when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was caught on security cameras visiting a San Francisco hair salon for a wash and blow-out, despite Gov. Gavin Newsom’s business lockdown orders, and local ordinances keeping hair and nail salons closed during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now we find out gyms located inside of government buildings in San Francisco have been open for months, despite privately owned gyms and fitness centers still ordered closed because of Gov. Newsom’s business lockdown over coronavirus.

If that is not enough, Central Coast Congressional Candidate Andy Caldwell reported to the Globe that the Santa Barbara Unified School District allowed the children of teachers and district employees to return to in-class learning, in a secret carve-out exemption at Franklin, McKinley, and other elementary schools in the district.

Anti-Border Fence Mich. Gov. Whitmer Building 8-Foot High, Electrified Fence Around Governor’s Residence

Despite her vocal opposition to building border walls to keep Americans safe from illegal immigration, Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is having an eight-foot high, electrified fence built around her official residence to keep out unwanted visitors.

The fence is just one part of a $1.1 million, taxpayer-funded security upgrade to the governor’s residence, The Detroit Free Press reports:

In recent weeks, crews have been working to build what appears to be an eight-foot-tall fence around the governor’s residence property. Last week, a sign on the site where crews were on the job warned, “Danger. High voltage. Unauthorized persons keep out.”

“It’s unclear how much is being spent on the perimeter fencing that’s being installed,” the paper reports.

As The Washington Free Beacon notes, Gov. Whitmer has called the construction of barriers on the U.S. borders too costly and ineffective:

Whitmer, a Biden surrogate, has attacked the idea of using barriers to prevent illegal immigration. She called President Donald Trump’s border wall “costly and ineffective” in February 2017, nearly a week after suggesting that money for the wall would be better spent elsewhere.

“$40 BILLION for the wall,” Whitmer tweeted. “Think how many kids that would educate, how many roads, bridges and pipes it would fix.”

Whitmer also campaigned against Trump’s wall in 2018, saying, “it is time we get back to building bridges, not walls.”

San Francisco keeps private gyms closed, but has reopened city-owned gyms. Furious owners call out city leaders.

San Francisco gyms have been forced by the liberal city to remain closed for months as part of measures implemented to reduce the spread of coronavirus. But city leaders have applied different rules for fitness facilities used by city employees.

According to KNTV-TV, city-owned indoor gyms have been open for months, all while privately owned indoor gyms have struggled to stay afloat. The result, KNTV reported, is “crushing private gym owners.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is asking for an apology from her salon — and what it did to her hair has nothing to do with it.

On Tuesday, Erica Kious shared a security video of a maskless Pelosi getting a haircut inside her San Francisco salon despite the fact that the area only allows outdoor haircuts right now; Kious also admitted she knew about the appointment ahead of time and let it happen. Pelosi wouldn’t apologize to Kious or to her critics on Wednesday, instead asking Kious to apologize to her instead.

“I take responsibility for trusting the word of a neighborhood salon I’ve been to over the years many times,” Pelosi said on Wednesday, claiming the salon told her it could take one customer at a time. “As it turns out, it was a setup, so I take responsibility for falling for a setup,” she continued. “I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up.” Continue reading “”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) visited a hair salon in San Francisco on Monday despite the Wuhan coronavirus regulations that closed salons throughout the city. Salons in Pelosi’s district have been closed since March when the pandemic began.

According to a video obtained by FoxNews.com, Pelosi visited eSalon for a wash and blowout. In the footage, Pelosi is seen in a salon cape, with wet hair and no face mask. According to coronavirus rules in California, stylists aren’t allowed to blow dry inside a building.

That kind of double talk won’t shake the commitment of most Jewish Democrats to vote against Trump. But it does give the lie to the claims that Biden opposes anti-Semitism while Trump supports it. Of course, that smear had no validity anyway since Trump has repeatedly condemned anti-Semitism, has done more to fight it on college campuses than any president and has led the most pro-Israel administration in the country’s history.

One of the major talking points for Democrats in 2020 has been their attempt to link President Donald Trump to anti-Semitism. That effort intensified during the Democrat’s virtual nominating convention when, at least during the primetime segments, the emphasis was on blasting Trump as an ally of extremists and putting forward Joe Biden as a model of decency. In order to make that charge stick, Democrats have made dubious claims about Trump’s dog-whistling to right-wing anti-Semites while ignoring problems in their own party.

But while the prime time schedule made the case for Biden as a centrist, the DNC’s daytime events shown online were aimed at the party’s grassroots activists. That meant a steady diet of political extremism designed to appease a left-wing base that is enthusiastic about defeating Trump, but not excited about Biden. And it is the aftermath of one such dose of radicalism — a speech given by former Women’s March leader and BDS activist Linda Sarsour — that is calling into question the sincerity of the Biden campaign’s rhetoric about Israel and anti-Semitism.

Planned Parenthood Quietly Cancels Their ‘Margaret Sanger Award’ Named After Racist Founder

While continuing to point fingers at conservatives – and, of course, President Trump – for failing to care for poor and minority communities, it appears Planned Parenthood has quietly tried to scrub their own blood-covered hands clean of their racist history – and without anyone noticing.

For instance, it seems as though the taxpayer-funded abortion giant has quietly stopped handing out the Margaret Sanger Award, a prize named for after their founder who was a known eugenicist who targeted black children for extermination. The National Catholic Register has noted that while Planned Parenthood’s own website continues to claim the award is given out “annually,” there hasn’t actually been a recipient since 2015, when it was given to abortionist Willie Parker (who was later accused of sexual assault).

On specific, high-profile issues, there is nothing even remotely moderate about Harris. From supporting the hideously expensive Green New Deal and “Medicare for All” to supporting free health coverage for illegal immigrants, Harris is as far to the left as elected officialdom ever gets.

When media call Kamala Harris ‘centrist,’ it’s no wonder people hate the press.

The ludicrous establishment-media narrative portraying vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris as a “pragmatic moderate” or a “centrist” is a perfect example of the media’s abandonment of standards and integrity.

Even if political labels are somewhat subjective, there exist objective ways for “straight news” outlets to determine which labels to use, if they use such labels at all. Under none of those objective standards could Harris be ranked among anything other than the liberal edge of American elective politics.

This is important as much for what it says about the establishment media as for what it says about Harris. One major reason President Trump taps into the anger of so many “ordinary Americans,” including with his attacks on the media as the “enemy of the people,” is that the media have completely and rightly lost the public’s trust through their abandonment of objectivity in favor of leftist cheerleading. People resent it when they know they are being manipulated.

Long time neighbor murders 5-year old innocently playing.

North Carolina police have charged a neighbor with the murder of a five-year-old boy who was riding a bike in his own yard when he was shot at point blank range on Sunday evening.

Darius Sessoms, 25, was taken into custody by Wilson police around 24 hours after he allegedly approached Cannon Hinnant in front of the young boy’s father’s house at 5:30pm and shot him in the head.

Hinnant’s seven-year-old and eight-year-old sisters witnessed the killing, their mother told WRAL.

Sessoms lived next door to the family, and the killing is not believed to be random. Neighbors claim he had dinner with Hinnant’s father Austin on Friday and had been over at the house earlier on Sunday.

The motive for the killing is still under investigation, but a GoFundMe established by a family member says that the young boy rode into Sessoms’ yard.

Why? Because Black people shooting other Black people in outbreaks of gang violence remains strictly “local news.” It’s not of interest to the national media because it doesn’t fit the narratives mentioned above. Nearly all gang shootings are done with illegal, unregistered handguns, so it doesn’t work for the gun control angle. And if it’s not a White person shooting people it doesn’t work for the rest of the current messaging plan. So down the memory hole it goes.

The Worst Mass Shooting You Never Heard About (This Year, Anyway)

In the early hours of the morning yesterday[Sunday], there was a massive party taking place on the 3300 block of Dubois Place in Southeast Washington, D.C. The good times came screeching to a halt when sustained gunfire broke out.

When the smoke cleared, one 17-year-old male was dead and another twenty people had been shot. Among them was an off-duty police officer who had responded to the violence and was left “fighting for her life.” No suspects have been identified.

Anti-gun “celebrity” raided by FBI and SWAT, guns found

From the LA Times:

A SWAT team was on hand Wednesday as the FBI served a search warrant at the Calabasas mansion of controversial YouTube influencer Jake Paul, sources confirmed to the Los Angeles Times.
“The FBI is executing a federal search warrant at a residence in Calabasas in connection with an ongoing investigation. The affidavit in support of the search warrant has been sealed by a judge and I am, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation. No arrests are planned,” an FBI representative said in a statement.
Details about the investigation were not released.
A SWAT team was used to make entry to Paul’s home, sources told The Times. Agents trained to make high-risk entries are used when intelligence suggests there are weapons or people who authorities believe could become violent on the premises.
Sources said multiple firearms were found on the property. Video showed Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies carrying at least five long guns to a cruiser parked in front of the mansion and securing the weapons inside the vehicle.
