California’s Health & Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly admits the ban on outdoor dining is about control, not science.

If you watch the vid, go to 26:14 for this

“As it relates to the question about indoor dining or outdoor dining, I think one thing that I have tried to message and emphasize is that right now we’re seeing such high levels of transmission that…every activity that can be done differently and keep us at our homes, not mixing with others, is safer. Those are going to be the tools that help us get this under control.

“So the decision to include, among other sectors, outdoor dining, and limiting that, turning to restaurants to deliver and provide takeout options instead, really has to do with the goal of trying to keep people at home, not a comment on the relative safety of outdoor dining.

And we have worked hard with that industry to create safer ways for outdoor dining to happen, to keeping tables farther apart, to ensuring masking happens as much as possible, to create opportunities for air circulation to continue. All of those factors make sectors like outdoor dining lower risk. But right now, with the levels of transmission that we’re seeing, we advise against anything that you can do in another way, in a lower risk way, that avoids you either leaving your home or only leaving your home in a way that doesn’t expose you and cause you to mix with others.”

Why Did Chinese Spy Focus On Democrats?
I’ll take: “Because they know they’re the corrupt ones?” for $500

Exclusive: Suspected Chinese spy targeted California politicians

A suspected Chinese intelligence operative developed extensive ties with local and national politicians, including a U.S. congressman, in what U.S. officials believe was a political intelligence operation run by China’s main civilian spy agency between 2011 and 2015, Axios found in a yearlong investigation.

Why it matters: The alleged operation offers a rare window into how Beijing has tried to gain access to and influence U.S. political circles.

    • While this suspected operative’s activities appear to have ended during the Obama administration, concerns about Beijing’s influence operations have spanned President Trump’s time in office and will continue to be a core focus for U.S. counterintelligence during the Biden administration.

BLUF:
President Trump’s predecessors—Truman on the bureaucracy, or Eisenhower on the military-industrial complex, or Nixon on the corrupted media—scratched the surface of the challenges we face. But none exposed it so openly, and in such breadth and depth.

If the history is written by the ultimate victors—and the house almost always wins—it may well be that this entire story is missed. Certainly, it will be misrepresented, warped, and glossed over in the most outrageous of ways. It will probably be censored too.

Nevertheless, we must write it: For posterity, and for our fellow countrymen, in the here and now, more motivated than ever before to reclaim this land we love.

Trump’s Greatest Achievement? The president has exposed the rot and corruption of our ruling class.

No matter how the presidential election ends, one of President Donald Trump’s myriad achievements stands above all others: he has exposed the unprecedented degree of rot and corruption that pervades the American system.

More specifically, Trump has exposed the ruling class: the bipartisan political establishment and its adjuncts in Big Tech, the corporate media, Big Business and Woke Capital, the academy, and across the commanding heights of American society. Continue reading “”

Georgia group founded by Stacey Abrams under investigation for seeking out-of-state, dead voters.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has launched investigations into several groups, including one founded by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, for seeking to “aggressively” register “ineligible, out-of-state, or deceased voters” before the state’s Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections.

Raffensperger’s office on Wednesday said the investigations are into groups including America Votes, Vote Forward and The New Georgia Project — which was founded by Abrams and previously chaired by Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock.

Raffensperger for weeks has issued warnings against efforts to register individuals who are ineligible to vote in Georgia’s runoff elections or to encourage people to come to Georgia with the sole purpose of casting ballots. Continue reading “”

Withholding information

From The Epoch Times:

At a public hearing in Arizona with select members of the state legislature and members of President Donald Trump’s legal team, lawmakers called for their colleagues to support an upcoming resolution that would delay the release of the state’s Electoral College votes.

Arizona state Rep. Mark Finchem told reporters during the Nov. 30 hearing that they hope to have a resolution “within the next 24 to 48 hours.” The state holds 11 Electoral College votes.

“We are clawing our Electoral College votes back, we will not release them,” Finchem said. “That’s what I’m calling on our colleagues in both the House and Senate to do—exercise our plenary authority under the U.S. Constitution.

From National File:

After the state’s hearing into election integrity was only halfway through, Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem, a Republican, issued a call for his colleagues to withhold the state’s Electoral College votes, as he believes there is enough significant evidence of fraud to invalidate the state’s votes.

From USSA News:

From Before Before It’s News:

Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem ““We are clawing our electoral college votes back, we will not release them”, Gosar: “Biden’s thugs will not steal this election.”

From (We) Are The News:

Arizona Rep. Mark Finchem seeks to prevent the state from assigning its Electoral College votes to Joe Biden

After the state’s hearing into election integrity was only halfway through, Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem, a Republican, issued a call for his colleagues to withhold the state’s Electoral College votes, as he believes there is enough significant evidence of fraud to invalidate the state’s votes.

“We are clawing our electoral college votes back, we will not release them. That’s what I’m calling our colleagues in both the House and the Senate to do,” added Finchem. “Exercise our plenary authority under the U.S. Constitution.”

Those reports on the hearing, and many, many, more, were found using a Bing search for the set of words (no quotations):

We are clawing our Electoral College votes back

No reference to the hearing was found in any major media outlet.

The same search with Google yielded one article in the Citizens Journal and one Twitter post.

The same search with Google New yielded nothing.

That news sources and major corporations withhold the activities of state legislatures from the people proves we live in a very different world from the one I believed we lived in when I took classes in U.S. history and U.S. government when I was in High School.

We live in interesting times.

Michigan Illegally Counted or Ignored 500K Ballots, Lawsuit Claims

In the wee hours of Thanksgiving Day, the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society filed an explosive election lawsuit asking Michigan’s Supreme Court to prevent Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson from certifying the election results until the Michigan legislature can fully investigate fraud claims and to force election officials to hand over all election materials to the legislature for this purpose. The lawsuit claims that officials illegally counted or threw out no fewer than 508,016 ballots, far more than Joe Biden’s 154,000-vote margin over Donald Trump. Continue reading “”

Mattis didn’t disclose ties to China-boosting firm in column slamming Trump’s ‘America First’ policy
Mattis denounced Trump’s foreign policy in a column written with three coauthors.

In an online column denouncing President Trump’s “America First” policy that includes measures regarding Beijing, ex-Defense Secretary James Mattis did not disclose his affiliation with an organization that fosters international business deals with communist China.

As coauthor with three other writers in a Nov. 23 Foreign Affairs column, Mattis did not mention that he works for the The Cohen Group consulting firm. Nor did he challenge China’s tough talk against U.S. policies regarding Taiwan, nor the strict economic retaliation Beijing levied against Australia.

Instead, Mattis criticized Trump administration policies toward Beijing. Such policies, touted by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, are not in line with The Cohen Group’s approach toward international business dealings with Beijing.

“China is a market of enormous opportunity and complexity,” the group states on its website, adding that the group’s China Practice “has a solid record of success with professionals in offices in Beijing, Tianjin and Washington, DC.”

The Cohen Group is run by another former Defense Secretary. William Cohen, who has been involved with China since 1978, when he went there to meet with Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, according to the organization.

“Since then, he has been a constant presence in the U.S.-China relationship, including commercial development and security cooperation,” the organization states, noting that Cohen serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S.-China Business Council.

Mattis joined The Cohen Group in 2019 as a senior counselor.

Mattis was among a group of retired four-star officers who drew criticism earlier this year for denigrating Trump in a series of articles, tweets, and other commentary.

“All Speech Is Not Equal”: Biden Taps Anti-Free Speech Figure For Transition Lead On Media Agency.

For those of us who have been critical of the growing anti-free speech movement in the Democratic Party, the Biden transition team just took an ominous turn.  The New York Post reports that Biden tapped Richard Stengel to take the “team lead” position on the US Agency for Global Media, including Voice of America, the Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. As I previously addressed in a column, Stengel has been one of the most controversial figures calling for censorship and speech controls. For a president-elect who just called for everyone to “hear each other,” he picked a top aide who wants to silence many.  Since it would be difficult to select a more anti-free speech figure to address government media policy, one has to assume that Biden will continue the onslaught against this core freedom as president.  This is not the first Biden aide to indicate a crackdown on free speech in the new Administration and Biden himself has called for greater censorship on the Internet.

Last year, Stengel wrote a chilling Washington Post op-ed that denounced free speech as a threat to social and political harmony.  Like a number of liberal and Democratic figures, Stengel struggled to convince readers that what they need is less freedom:  “All speech is not equal. And where truth cannot drive out lies, we must add new guardrails. I’m all for protecting ‘thought that we hate,’ but not speech that incites hate.” Continue reading “”

Science As God: Tech Hearing And COVID Show Us Exactly Where Censorship Is Headed

In all the back and forth of Tuesday’s Big Tech hearing, Democratic Sen. Chris Coons’ exchange with Twitter’s Jack Dorsey stood out most starkly, offering a window into the next step of the left’s long-championed Big Tech censorship of scientific dissent from liberal orthodoxy.

“You do, Mr. Dorsey, have policies against deep fakes or manipulated media, against Covid-19 misinformation, against things that violate civic integrity,” the Delaware senator began, “but you don’t have a standalone climate change misinformation policy. Why not?”

Our policies are living documents,” Dorsey replied. “They will evolve, we will add to them, but we thought it important we focus our energies and prioritize the work as much as we could.” And then:

Well, Mr. Dorsey… I cannot think of a greater harm than climate change, which is transforming literally our planet and causing harm to our entire world. I think we’re experiencing significant harm as we speak. I recognize the pandemic and misinformation about Covid-19 manipulated media also cause harm but I’d urge you to reconsider that because helping to disseminate climate denialism in my view further facilitates and accelerates one of the greatest existential threats to our world.

This has been ongoing for years in corporate media. In 2019, Chuck Todd pompously announced his show would no longer “give time to climate deniers.” Two years before that, when The New York Times’ Bret Stephens used his debut column to call out “The Climate of Complete Certainty” that seeks to shut down completely reasonable dissent, the paper faced vicious backlash for “providing a platform to a climate denier.” For more than a decade before this, more of the same — often trickling up, from activists to the reporters who sympathize to the powers that can truly silence voices.

Four years ago, reporters demanded then-President Barack censor fake news, pushing Press Secretary Josh Earnest into the awkward position of having to remind apparent journalists of the First Amendment four times. The targets that day were the Bat Boy-like farces they blamed for Her 2016 loss, but it was already obvious the definition of “fake news” would rapidly expand. Once President Donald Trump assumed office, corporate media and allied politicians bypassed the White House and turned to Silicon Valley, which fell in line quickly enough. Continue reading “”

Is this really shocking to anyone. I mean, it’s the nominal way all but a few major charities that are founded by out of work politicians operate. Their ‘overhead costs’, expense accounts and salaries are huge, and the money spent on what the purported reason for the foundation are minimal.

Joe Biden’s Cancer Charity Turned Into an IRS Sanctioned Grift — Big Salaries but No Money For Research

An interesting dynamic to watch over the next four years — IF there is a Biden Administration — is whether the New York Post continues to take an editorial point of view on its news side that is overtly hostile to the Biden families’ activities prior to taking office.

Yesterday’s front page included a story that zeros in on what is likely a very sensitive subject — the actions of Joe Biden and his family following the death of his son Beau in 2015 from brain cancer.

In 2016, Congress passed the “21st Century Cures Act,” which authorized $6.3 billion to deal with a variety of medical and mental health issues, including a sum of $1.8 billion dedicated to cancer research in what is called the “Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot” initiative.

After leaving office, Joe Biden and his wife formed a charity in memory of Beau Biden dedicated to the task of aiding in the cause of finding a cure for cancer.  According to the Post:

The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife Jill Biden to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,” according to its IRS mission statement.

But while the “charity” raised over $4 million in the more than two years the Bidens were involved — he suspended involvement after deciding to run for President — the manner in which the funds were spent raises interesting questions. Continue reading “”

One of Trump’s major triumphs has been the exposure of ‘neutral’, ‘expert’ and ‘non-partisan’ people and institutions as really nothing more than political hacks.

When scientific journals take sides during an election, the public’s trust in science takes a hit.

The big idea

When the scientific establishment gets involved in partisan politics, it decreases people’s trust in science, especially among conservatives, according to our recent research.

In the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, several prestigious scientific journals took the highly unusual step of either endorsing Joe Biden or criticizing Donald Trump in their pages.

In September, the editor-in-chief of the journal Science wrote a scathing article titled “Trump lied about science,” which was followed by other strong critiques from both the New England Journal of Medicine and the cancer research journal Lancet Oncology.

Several other top publications – including Nature and Scientific American – soon followed, with overt endorsements of Biden. The statements focused on each candidate’s impact on scientific knowledge and science-based decision-making.

To evaluate whether political endorsements like these might influence people’s attitudes toward science, we ran an online survey experiment.

We asked one group of respondents to read a news article about a scientific journal or magazine. We asked a second group of people to read an article that contained the same description of the publication but with additional details about the political position it took and quotes from its actual statements regarding Biden and Trump. Then we asked respondents about their trust in scientists, scientific journals and science as an institution. Continue reading “”

Joe Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain, 2014: Yes, American Elections Are ‘Rigged’

Ron Klain, the long-serving aide to former Vice President Joe Biden who was named White House chief of staff Wednesday in the event his boss is certified as the winner of the election, tweeted in 2014 that he believed American elections are rigged.

Klain’s tweet came in response to a tweet by Vox.com that reported that 68 percent of Americans believe our elections are rigged:

The accompanying article said that Americans were right to suspect elections were “rigged” — because of what was legal:

A new Rasmussen poll finds that 68 percent of Americans think elections are rigged in favor of incumbents. And they’re basically right.

The term “rigged” might go a tad far. The problem here isn’t fraud. In elections, like in so much else, the scandal is what’s legal.

The article focused on gerrymandering, which protected most congressional incumbents from serious challenges.

However, the reasoning could just as easily apply to large-scale vote-by-mail, which was introduced in the middle of the 2020 election over the objections of President Donald Trump and resulted in high Democratic turnout.

A recent poll found that 70 percent of Republicans believe the 2020 election was neither free nor fair. Last year, a poll found that 84 percent of Democrats believed that Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia to win the election — after special counsel Robert Mueller found otherwise.

They assure us that it’s mere coincidence.
Of course, Paul can confirm that I don’t believe in coincidence.

Why Did Six Battleground States with Democrat Governors (Except One) ALL Pause Counting on Election Night? And How Was This Coordinated?

here are several reports on Election night that five battleground states quit counting on Election night.

NewsMax pointed out the coincidence of it happening in those five states with Democratic governors (except for Georgia) with Trump ahead before the “pauses.”

Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia and Nevada mysteriously quit counting after midnight.

We reported on this late at night on election night!

More specifically, Trump has exposed the ruling class: the bipartisan political establishment and its adjuncts in Big Tech, the corporate media, Big Business and Woke Capital, the academy, and across the commanding heights of American society.

Trump’s manners engender hatred in the ruling class. Even more significantly, his tenacity in confronting the ruling class’s members with their failures—and the fact he has threatened to rectify those failures—discredits and disempowers those responsible for them. Their response—a perpetual effort to destroy him—has shown the ruling class to be lawless and tyrannical.

Consequently, the ruling class has obliterated the institutions it claimed to be defending, revealing to those Americans not addled by Trump Derangement Syndrome that the emperor has no clothes. Americans willing to look can now see that those institutions which ostensibly exist to serve us have no reservations about launching a full-scale assault on us if it serves their interests.

Consider what we have learned about the leaders of the country in the last four years. Continue reading “”

If so, this new definition justifies animus toward you. It‘s now okay to hate you for “clinging” to beliefs deemed unacceptable.

“Bigot” has been given a new dictionary definition and it TOTALLY isn’t aimed at you ?

2+2=4
Now that we have that out of the way, there’s a new update on the coming Orwellian dystopia. Take a gander:

Yes, the Oxford Dictionary, used by Google in this case (and thus the foremost definition anyone on the interwebs will see) has updated their definition of “bigot.”

The historical definition was someone who was “intolerant toward those holding different opinions.” Even this definition has a bit of post-modern flare, since all people with common sense reject opinions contrary to morality and logic, but it’s still vague enough to encompass the general truth of the meaning.

The term “bigot” dates from the 16th century, and its historical meaning was “sanctimonious person” or “religious hypocrite.” Its meaning expanded outside religious connotation by 1680.

Historically, a bigot would be a hypocrite who refused to listen to or tolerate any viewpoints other than their own. You might also call such a person obtuse and unagreeable. Today, the word is applied to anyone who doesn’t follow the diktats of the Woke mob; hence why a Christian believing in 5,000 years of biblical teaching on marriage is deemed a bigot for opposing a transgender two-spirited furry that wants to marry xi/xer chandelier.

The new definition leaves little doubt that this inference is being taken further by the intelligentsia that want you to know what to believe and think: Continue reading “”

Let’s Be Clear About That Michigan “Computer Glitch”

The computer glitch that was found to have turned 6000 Trump votes into Biden votes in Michigan.  Software that’s used in 47 other Michigan counties, not to mention pretty much all the states with miraculous vote changes for Biden.

That was not a computer glitch. That was a programming decision. Whether that was some sort of programming error, which seems highly unlikely, or if it was deliberate cheating I don’t know, but I highly suspect deliberately bad software.  Let’s face it; adding integers is just about the easiest thing to get a computer to do (and if you’re thinking of adding votes as floating point numbers, go back to school).

Let’s get one thing clear.  Computer “glitches” cause a system to fail, or cause it produce random-looking outputs.  They can even possibly reboot the system.  If it’s good software, it gives some sort of indication that something bad happened.  If it changes the results of a count, or moves it to another candidate that’s something else.
