{"id":104389,"date":"2024-09-18T19:34:14","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T00:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=104389"},"modified":"2024-09-18T19:34:14","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T00:34:14","slug":"104389","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=104389","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Contradicting herself in the same sentence, how efficient<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2nd-amendment\/2024\/09\/18\/kamala-harris-were-not-taking-anyones-guns-but-we-must-ban-ar-15s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kamala Harris: We\u2019re Not Taking Anyone\u2019s Guns, but We Must Ban AR-15s<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris said she would not be taking away anyone\u2019s guns then immediately pushed an AR-15 ban during a Tuesday question-and-answer with reporters at the National Association of Black Journalists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">Harris\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/live\/?ref=watch_permalink&amp;v=1240798970458577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">said<\/a>, \u201cI am a gun owner, and Tim Walz is a gun owner, and we\u2019re not trying to take anyone\u2019s guns away from them, but we do need an \u2018assault weapons\u2019 ban.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">It appears that such a ban \u2014\u00a0<em>if it were actually a ban \u2014<\/em>\u00a0would take AR-15- and AK-47-style rifles away from the law-abiding Americans who currently own them.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Anti-gunners are truly outstanding liars.\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n<p>In a single breath, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KamalaHarris?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@KamalaHarris<\/a> says she won&#8217;t take your guns, BUT then calls for taking your guns. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/694Wld8GHo\">https:\/\/t.co\/694Wld8GHo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Gun Owners of America (@GunOwners) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GunOwners\/status\/1836144811327271210?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 17, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Banning AR-15s, AK-47s, and other firearms that Democrats describe as \u201cassault weapons\u201d has been part of Harris\u2019s gun control agenda since she vied for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2019. Moreover, Harris made clear during the 2019 nominating cycle that she would enact such a ban via executive action if elecetd.<\/p>\n<p>On April 22, 2019, Breitbart News\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2019\/04\/22\/harris-ill-take-executive-action-if-congress-doesnt-pass-gun-legislation-in-first-100-days\/\">reported<\/a>\u00a0Harris\u2019s plan to give Congress 100 days to pass new gun controls if she won the White House. Should Congress fail to act, Harris made clear she would simply use executive orders to achieve the gun control she desires.<\/p>\n<p>Then, on July 13, 2019, Harris again\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KamalaHarris\/status\/1150150409186676738\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">pledged<\/a>\u00a0to bypass Congress and enact executive gun control should she win the presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Harris\u00a0remarked,\u00a0\u201cGun violence is the leading cause of death for young [b]lack men in America. We must stop this.
