(KFVS) &#8211; Police said a man was shot while he allegedly entered a woman\u2019s bedroom window.<\/p>\n<p>Rondriguez Hopkins, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested after he was released from the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Poplar Bluff police, they responded to a home in the 600 block of Victor Street around 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, October 12 for a report of a shooting.<\/p>\n<p>They say a resident of the home told them she shot at a man as he entered her bedroom window.<\/p>\n<p>Officers found the man, later identified as Hopkins, who had a gunshot wound to his shoulder and hand. He was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment and then transferred to a Cape Girardeau hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins is being held at the Butler County Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, in 2022, Hopkins was caught on camera trying to enter other homes.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s scheduled to be in court on Tuesday morning, Oct. 15.<\/p>\n<p>Police are not seeking charges against the resident of the home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poplar Bluff man shot while entering woman\u2019s bedroom window POPLAR BLUFF, Mo.
