Trump Cabinet Nominees And Administration Appointees Threatened, Swatted Before Thanksgiving<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Former President Donald Trump\u2019s cabinet nominees faced a series of threats overnight and on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeveral of President Trump\u2019s Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them,\u201d Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt wrote in a press\u00a0release<\/a> on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The threats, which came the night before Thanksgiving eve, \u201cranged from bomb threats to \u201cswatting,\u2019\u201d in which a suspect falsely reports an emergency to trigger a police response against his target, according to the release. Police and \u201cother authorities\u201d quickly acted for the \u201csafety of those who were targeted.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action,\u201d Leavitt wrote. \u201cWith President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us.\u201d<\/p>\n
