Democrats knew that Trump supporters would be flooding D.C., so they withdrew law enforcement, removed physical guardrails, seeded the crowd with provocateurs, trusted the press of people to steer innocents into trouble, and then used a weaponized Justice Department to destroy people who showed up on January 6 and found themselves near the Capitol. That\u2019s why I happen to think the planned $50 billion class action J6 prisoner lawsuit is a good idea to expose the government\u2019s role in J6.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We know a lot about January 6 to show that what happened was a planned event\u2014and not one that Trump or his supporters intended. Here\u2019s just a short list, off the top of my head:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Nancy Pelosi\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ovuyHPHH6xM\">refused extra security at the Capitol<\/a>\u00a0despite knowing how many people were pouring into D.C., and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/congresswoman-says-trump-administration-botched-capitol-riot-preparations-2021-05-12\/\">despite Trump\u2019s (too meek) suggestion<\/a>\u00a0that they be present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Ray Epps was in the crowd\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.revolver.news\/2021\/10\/meet-ray-epps-the-fed-protected-provocateur-who-appears-to-have-led-the-very-first-1-6-attack-on-the-u-s-capitol\/\">encouraging people to storm the Capitol<\/a>\u2014and the FBI assiduously tried to ignore him until public pressure grew too great. It\u2019s hard to believe he was the only provocateur.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The government had\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepAndyBiggsAZ\/status\/1869113113314029718\">assets in the crowd<\/a>\u2014people who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/meantweeting1\/status\/1872894905976275035\">matched the images of those removing fences and smashing windows<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Masked men who never seem to have been arrested\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/revolver.news\/2021\/12\/damning-new-details-massive-web-unindicted-operators-january-6\/\">removed all signs and fencing<\/a>\u00a0that would have indicated to innocent Americans that they were in a no-go area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Capitol police\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/christina_bobb\/status\/1347596278583197698\">opened the doors<\/a>, which were magnetically sealed from the inside and, therefore, could not be opened.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Once the doors were opened,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/miguelifornia\/status\/1867755239803064532\">the police welcomed people in<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Subject to a few exceptions, the Trump supporters who entered the Capitol\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DschlopesIsBack\/status\/1850588344326987779\">stayed within the rope lines and treated the Capitol with respect<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Liz Cheney\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BigFish3000\/status\/1870876220424126865\">now stands accused<\/a>\u00a0of having destroyed evidence and tampered with witnesses to force an outcome on the already biased J6 committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The FBI and DOJ embarked on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/01\/05\/politics\/doj-investigation-jan-6-insurrection\/index.html\">the biggest manhunt and prosecution spree in American history<\/a>. They did this despite their passivity in the face of protests that\u00a0ripped across America in 2020, many of them directed at federal property, including the White House and courthouses. This was also in contrast to the government\u2019s response to the endless, violent leftist protests since the 1960s, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/cancel-kavanaugh-protest-hart-senate-building-amy-schumer-emily-ratajkowski-today-2018-10-04\/\">invasions into Capitol buildings<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The protestors have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/09\/01\/jan-6-longest-sentences-list\">received sentences far harsher<\/a>\u00a0than any meted out to leftist protesters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The protestors in the D.C. jails have been treated in cruel and unusual fashion. (See, e.g.,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mtgreenee\/status\/1861394798294286831\">here<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JakeLangJ6\/status\/1851045471793660387\">here<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RealAmVoice\/status\/1870255593778491752\">here<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Entrapment and abuse seem to be the name of the game for the hundreds of people the government has persecuted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s why it\u2019s good news that 100 of the J6 prisoners have signed on to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2024\/12\/january-6-political-prisoners-launch-historic-50-billion\/\">a $50 billion class action lawsuit<\/a>. The lawsuit alleges the abuses they\u2019ve suffered at the government\u2019s hands, abuses that were meted out not in the name of the rule of law but as a political powerplay:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>The lawsuit, set to be filed on January 20, 2025, has already garnered widespread support, with over 100 prisoners signing on. This historic legal action seeks to compensate these individuals for the extensive harm inflicted by what they describe as a weaponized justice system. From the loss of generational family businesses, homes, and careers to the irreparable emotional and psychological damage suffered during years of wrongful incarceration, the plaintiffs are demanding accountability for the Federal Government\u2019s actions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Jake Lang, a prominent figure in the January 6 movement, emphasized the importance of this lawsuit, stating, \u201cThis isn\u2019t just about restitution; it\u2019s about setting a precedent. Weaponized government and lawfare against conservatives can never become the standard in America.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>According to\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fedwatchdog.org\/\">Federal Watchdog<\/a>, the plaintiffs were \u201chunted down like animals\u201d by the FBI for peacefully protesting at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Many have faced harsh sentences, inadequate legal representation, and conditions that have worsened their physical and mental health. Critics argue this is a glaring example of a two-tiered justice system, one that has been particularly hostile to supporters of former President Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s to be hoped that the suit comes before a judge courageous enough to allow the plaintiffs to take discovery. No matter where the suit ends up, the discovery process is what this nation needs.
