News that Smith and Wesson launched a lever action<\/a>\u00a0in 2024 was shocking, but when the initial production run (limited\u00a0collector edition<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0aside) was more tactical then traditional, we were even more surprised.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now,\u00a0the company has shifted back to old-school gear,<\/a>\u00a0offering not only the\u00a01854 Walnut<\/strong><\/a>, but a new chambering in .45 Colt. We were delighted to get our hands on one, marking the first time we\u2019ve fired\u00a0.45 Colt<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from a S&W lever gun.
