I know what will fix it! I\u2019ll hit myself on the head with this mallet!\u201d That\u2019s the state of the Democrat Party these days, and particularly of failed second banana Tim Walz, who recommended in a recent speech not that Democrats reject the woke idiocy that has led them straight into a ditch, but that they embrace even more of it. Why, Tim, you\u2019re an absolute genius! That\u2019ll fix everything!<\/p>\n<p>Walz, the unmanly man\u2019s idea of a man\u2019s man, was captured on a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EndWokeness\/status\/1905412156889464883\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a>\u00a0that started circulating widely on Thursday repeating the familiar Democrat mantra: \u201c\u2026 that our strength\u00a0<em>is<\/em>\u00a0our diversity! We\u2019ve been talking about this for years, as a country of immigrants. And we let them define the issue on immigration!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Tim Walz: &#8220;We got ourselves into this mess because we did NOT embrace immigrants, wokeness, and DEI&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iqSrauLI1K\">pic.twitter.com\/iqSrauLI1K<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EndWokeness\/status\/1905412156889464883?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 28, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>That\u2019s true, Timmy: Democrats have indeed been relentlessly repeating the phrase \u201cDiversity is Our Strength\u201d for years on end, with all the fervor of those who recognize the truth in Goebbels\u2019 adage that a big lie, repeated often enough, starts to be believed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In reality, a society that worships diversity is on its way to fragmentation and dissolution. On this as with so many issues, the left has deliberately confused the issue. If you say you don\u2019t believe that diversity is our strength, you\u2019ll be accused of being a racist, a white supremacist, a neo-Nazi who wants to eliminate all minorities. Theodore Roosevelt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onthewing.org\/user\/Pol_Hyphenated-Americans%20-%20T_Roosevelt.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enunciated <\/a>\u00a0the truth:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>This is just as true of the man who puts &#8220;native&#8221; before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as anyone else.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans, or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality than with the other citizens of the American Republic.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Theodore Roosevelt<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Address to the Knights of Columbus<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>New York City- October 12th, 1915<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Balkanization (a word that in itself testifies to the dangers of the idolatry of diversity) of the U.S. appears to be just what the far left wants, as it will justify their destruction of constitutional freedoms and use of authoritarian measures to keep order. If Walz wanted the Democrats to recapture the American electorate, he could at least show some glancing awareness of the reasons why so many Americans oppose open borders and mass migration. Instead, he just repeated the same old mantra.<\/p>\n<p>Walz continued: \u201cWe let them define the issue on DNI \u2014 DEI. And we let them define what woke is. We got ourselves in this mess because we weren\u2019t bold enough to stand up and say, \u2018You\u2019re damn right we\u2019re proud of these policies. We\u2019re gonna put \u2018em in, and we\u2019re gonna execute \u2018em.\u201d Gee, I don\u2019t know, Tim. Many things can be said about the ill-starred Harris\/Walz campaign, but no one can honestly say that it was timid or reticent about its support for DEI and mass migration, despite paying some disingenuous lip service to the idea of controlling the border.<\/p>\n<p>Electing the Harris\/Walz ticket, the New York Times\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/08\/07\/opinion\/kamala-harris-walz-democrats.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opined<\/a>\u00a0in Aug. 2024, \u201cIt\u2019s a chance to bolster a bedrock liberal belief: that diversity benefits society overall.\u201d The Times added that \u201cRepublicans have slammed Harris as a D.E.I. candidate, tossing around the acronym for diversity, equity and inclusion to insinuate that she didn\u2019t earn her place. But overwhelmingly, one of the reasons Democrats are excited about her is that she\u2019s highly qualified and also happens to be a woman of color. They recognize that she represents all that is good about D.E.I., that it isn\u2019t about the granting of privilege but the dismantling of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And now Tim Walz is saying that the Democrats weren\u2019t insistent enough about their being in favor of wokeness, DEI, and mass migration?<br \/>\nThe American electorate knew that very well, Timbo, and rejected it in massive numbers.<br \/>\nYet Walz and his fellow Democrat apparatchiks appear determined to pick up the same old mallet and hit themselves over the head with it again. Why not, Tim?
