We\u2019ve already had\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthaboutguns.com\/breaking-nz-mosque-murderer-used-guns-to-prompt-more-gun-control-end-of-2a-in-the-us\/#comment-4215027\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at least two<\/a>\u00a0high profile\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/louisville-bank-shooting-assault-weapon-ca73010349248d5a07ed6d5056b41f22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mass shooters<\/a>\u00a0say in their manifestos they were motivated in part by wanting to advance gun control.<\/p>\n<p>In an environment where some of the left seems to be embracing political violence, committing terrible crimes to influence a Court ruling wouldn\u2019t be all that surprising. Better to decide\u00a0<em>Snope<\/em>\u00a0instantly on a\u00a0<em>per curiam<\/em>\u00a0and deny them that motivation. And it should be decided\u00a0<em>per curiam<\/em>\u00a0anyway, given\u00a0<em>Heller<\/em>\u00a0should have settled any hardware issues as to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.americas1stfreedom.org\/content\/what-firearms-have-common-use-protections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commonly used<\/a>\u00a0arms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Would The Violent Left Try to Influence the Supreme Court if it Takes the Maryland \u2018Assault Weapons\u2019 Ban Case?
