NEW ORLEANS<\/strong>\u00a0(July\u00a017,\u00a02025) \u2013 This afternoon, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and the federal government agreed to a joint\u00a0dismissal<\/a>\u00a0of the government\u2019s appeal in our\u00a0Mock v. Bondi<\/em>\u00a0lawsuit, a case that successfully challenged the Biden ATF\u2019s \u201cpistol brace\u201d ban rule and secured injunctive relief for gun owners while the case was being litigated to final judgment, which completely\u00a0vacated<\/a> the rule.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cToday is a great day for freedom and the American people,\u201d said Firearms Policy Coalition President Brandon Combs. \u201cThe dismissal of this appeal should be the final nail in the coffin of this unconstitutional Biden ATF assault on gun owners. As we explained in the case filings, braced pistols are not \u2018short-barreled rifles\u2019. But either way, they are unquestionably arms protected under the Second Amendment. We are thrilled to have secured this important win for liberty and excited to take on even more unconstitutional laws so you can exercise your rights when, where, and how you choose.\u201d<\/p>\n
