{"id":19342,"date":"2019-12-06T22:50:09","date_gmt":"2019-12-07T04:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=19342"},"modified":"2019-12-07T10:09:03","modified_gmt":"2019-12-07T16:09:03","slug":"19342","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=19342","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wesh.com\/article\/homeowner-shoots-kills-suspect-climbing-through-window-brevard-deputies-say\/30124163#\">Brevard County homeowner fatally shoots intruder<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A homeowner shot and killed a man who he said was attempting to burglarize his Cocoa home, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Police received a call from the homeowner around noon Wednesday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content--body-wrapper-side-floater \">\n<div class=\"ad-rectangle \">\n<div class=\"ad-label \">Officials said the homeowner told them a person in black and wearing a mask broke out a window at the back of the house in an attempt to get inside.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The homeowner said he fired a gun at the person climbing into his home, causing the burglar to fall back outside, deputies said.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said when they got to the home on Brophy Boulevard, a man was found dead in the backyard.<\/p>\n<p>The homeowner&#8217;s stepfather Clarence Patterson spoke with WESH 2 News about the incident.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(My stepson) saw one of them throwing a bicycle through the window there. He threw the bicycle through the window and my stepson shot five or six times. He hit that one; I don\u2019t know if he hit the other one,&#8221; Patterson said.<\/p>\n<p>The Brevard County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said there may have been a second man involved in the attempted burglary but has not found anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said that man was described as a black man in his early 20s wearing black pants with white stripes, a black shirt and either a white hoodie or a white shirt around his head.<\/p>\n<p>The identities of the man who was killed and the homeowner have not been released<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox2detroit.com\/news\/cpl-holder-shoots-man-trying-to-rob-in-him-detroit\">CPL holder shoots man trying to rob in him Detroit<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>DETROIT (FOX 2) &#8211; A man walking on Detroit&#8217;s west side was carrying his gun and his CPL when someone tried to rob him. He used his gun and the attempted robber in the street.<\/p>\n<p>Police were called around 6:45 to the 18600 block of Grayfield to the shooting. A 25-year-old man was walking when an armed man tried to rob him.<\/p>\n<p>The victim has a concealed pistol license and pulled his gun. Both men shot at each other and the robbery suspect was hit in the body.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wreg.com\/2019\/12\/05\/arkansas-suspect-winds-up-in-hospital-after-shootout-with-store-manager\/\">Arkansas suspect winds up in hospital after shootout with store manager<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>HELENA- WEST HELENA, Ark. \u2014 A suspect who allegedly tried to rob a local store manager and his son early Thursday morning wound up in the hospital after the victim fought back.<\/p>\n<p>The store manager and his child were opening up Jordan&#8217;s Kwik Stop on Sebastian Street around 5:45 a.m. Thursday when a man with a gun forced them inside. The man reportedly said &#8220;let me get everything&#8221; and held them at gunpoint.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the store manager said, &#8220;OK, hold on, let me get it for you,&#8221; then grabbed a gun and shot the suspect twice during a shootout.<\/p>\n<p>A clerk shot a man during a robbery attempt at this store in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect ran from the scene, but eventually showed up at the Helena Regional Hospital. From there, he was taken to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Demetrius Morant, 27, was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree.<\/p>\n<p>His bond was set at $155,000. His first court appearance will be set after his release from the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myhighplains.com\/news\/one-dead-another-injured-after-store-employee-shoots-robbery-suspects\/\">One dead, another injured after store employee shoots robbery suspects<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR\/KCIT) \u2014 One person is dead and another is injured after a store clerk shoots two robbery suspects.<\/p>\n<p>It happened just before 9 p.m. at a store on the 1700 block of NE 24th.<\/p>\n<p>According to Amarillo Police, the two suspects walked into the store with a rifle and attempted to rob the clerk.<\/p>\n<p>APD said the clerk had a handgun and shot both suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Officials on scene told MyHighPlains.com the two were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Police told us one of the suspects, Queshon Johnson, 17, died from his injuries at the hospital.
