One of the men looked out and saw three suspects dressed in all black trying to break in.<\/p>\n<p>The man exited his room with a shotgun and opened fire on the suspects, shooting three of them.<\/p>\n<p>During an exchange of gunfire with the suspects, the man was also shot. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to just warn people that if it turns out that you&#8217;re breaking into somebody&#8217;s home, regardless of the circumstances, that eventually you&#8217;re gonna end up dead or you&#8217;re gonna end up in jail,&#8221; Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Deputies are at a home in the 1800 block of Amie Michele Ln in Channelview, where 3 males are confirmed dead after an apparent home invasion robbery attempt. PIO is en route and updates will be given from the scene. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/HouNews?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#HouNews<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VhSzUipznc\">pic.twitter.com\/VhSzUipznc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; HCSOTexas (@HCSOTexas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HCSOTexas\/status\/1209145899076739072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 23, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnem.com\/news\/msp-man-armed-with-knife-shot-killed-by-homeowners-during\/article_de38c924-2530-11ea-a77b-fbc837ff1c51.html\">Man armed with knife shot, killed by homeowners during home invasion<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A man was fatally shot after he broke into a Manistee County home with a knife and assaulted the occupants inside, according to Michigan State Police.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 22 at 1:30 p.m. troopers were sent to a report of a home invasion and shooting on 1st Street in Copemish.<\/p>\n<p>MSP said a 29-year-old Copemish man, identified as Nathan Reed, forced his way into a house while brandishing a knife when a man and woman were inside.<\/p>\n<p>There was a physical struggle and one of the occupants shot Reed with a firearm.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Reed died at the scene from gunshot injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was treated for a minor head injury at the scene and was released while the man was uninjured.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun-sentinel.com\/local\/broward\/lauderhill\/fl-ne-lauderhill-homicide-home-invasion-20191222-v6zwpdl3ivgnpnoovwjkuux7aa-story.html\">Masked gunman killed after shootout in Lauderhill home invasion<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A Lauderhill homeowner traded gunfire with a masked intruder and killed the assailant early Saturday, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to the home in the 4400 block of Northwest 16th Street after a 911 call about 12:45 a.m. They found a dead man and a weapon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a masked gunman on the floor, deceased,\u201d said Lt.
