Seattle Region Erupts in Violence; CPL Application Process Still \u2018Suspended\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n U.S.A. \u2013-(AmmoLand.com)- For the first time in history, a police officer in Bothell, Washington\u2014a suburb just northeast of Seattle\u2014has been shot dead in the line of duty. The suspect is in custody.<\/p>\n The slain officer was identified as Jonathan Shoop, who had been with the department just over one year.
