Climate Change Alarmist Harrison Ford Seen Landing Private Jet to Pick Up Son Ahead of Thanksgiving.<\/a><\/p>\n

Harrison Ford, who has spoken publicly about the perils of climate change, was reportedly seen landing his private plane to pick up his son ahead of Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

The Raiders of the Lost Ark star was snapped disembarking from the plane in the Boston area on Saturday to pick up his son Liam from college for the holiday break, according to a report from the Daily Mail. The actor appeared to disregard the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s recommendation that Americans avoid traveling for Thanksgiving due to the coronavirus.<\/p>\n

Harrison Ford \u00a0recently received clearance to fly again from the Federal Aviation Administration, after an\u00a0incident<\/a>\u00a0in April when the Hollywood actor and aviation enthusiast crossed a runway in Santa Ana, California, despite warnings from air traffic control.<\/p>\n

Ford has been a vocal climate change activist,\u00a0trashing<\/a>\u00a0the U.S. under the Trump administration and\u00a0praising<\/a>\u00a0Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe climate crisis is real \u2014 the weight of scientific evidence is overwhelming,\u201d Ford said in an\u00a0interview<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Time<\/em>\u00a0magazine in October. \u201cBut evidence can be ignored, it can be manipulated.\u00a0Leaders who choose to make climate change a divisive issue do it to protect the entrenched economic interests who profit from behavior that destroys our planet.\u00a0It\u2019s selfish. It\u2019s short-sighted. It needs to stop\u2026 This shit is going to kill us.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>star\u00a0continues to fly his private plane despite\u00a0studies<\/a>\u00a0showing that\u00a0private jets spew as much as 20 times more carbon dioxide per passenger mile than a commercial airliner.<\/p>\n

In August, the Hollywood star\u00a0was seen landing his plane<\/a>\u00a0in Massachusetts to drop off his son for college.<\/p>\n
