\nAnd the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.<\/strong><\/span>
\nAnd God said, Let there be light: and there was light.<\/strong><\/span>
\nAnd God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

This was not done on the spur of the moment, as it was decided long before launch that a Christmas message would be sent to Earth from Lunar orbit.
