Montana: House Concurs on Permitless Carry Legislation \u2013 Heads to Governor\u2019s Desk<\/a><\/p>\n On Friday, the Montana House concurred on Permitless Carry legislation, House Bill 102, sending it to the desk of Governor Greg Gianforte. Governor Gianforte has ten days to sign or veto the measure, or it becomes law on its own.<\/p>\n House Bill 102 will strengthen Montana\u2019s self-defense laws by allowing law-abiding Montana gun owners to carry a firearm for self-defense throughout the state without first having to obtain a government mandated permit to do so.
