{"id":64668,"date":"2021-02-09T11:25:52","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T17:25:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=64668"},"modified":"2021-02-09T11:25:52","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T17:25:52","slug":"64668","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=64668","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clergyinsupportofthe2ndamendment.org\/Rutgers_Cherry_Picks_States.html\">Rutgers Cherry Picks States To Produce Justification For Gun Control<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since When Is Iowa, A Shall Issue Concealed Carry State, An Example Of Strict Gun Laws?<\/p>\n<div id=\"content\">\n<div>This Rutgers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2021-02\/ru-swm020421.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cstudy\u201d<\/a>\u00a0is pure propaganda.\u00a0 They chose New York as one example of a \u201cstrict gun laws\u201d state, because it had a much lower crime rate during NYC\u2019s \u201cstop and frisk\u201d policy \u2013 which just happened to coincide with the years of their study.\u00a0 Unbelievably, they chose Iowa as a \u201cstrict gun laws\u201d state!\u00a0 Iowa is anything but such a state.\u00a0 It does not license gun owners, nor register guns, nor have storage requirements.\u00a0 Furthermore, Iowa is a \u201cshall issue\u201d concealed carry state that honors permits from many other states.\u00a0 The worst thing one can say about the state is that it requires a permit to purchase a handgun.\u00a0 Why did they bypass Illinois and pick Iowa?\u00a0 Because Illinois has strict gun laws and an astronomical crime rate.<big><\/p>\n<p><\/big>For the \u201clax gun laws\u201d states, they chose Louisiana and Arkansas.\u00a0 Having spent a great deal of time in the FBI\u2019s online data site, I immediately recognized that these two states are outliers among 2nd Amendment friendly states, with high crime rates.\u00a0 In fact, Louisiana has the highest crime state of the 40 plus 2A friendly states.<big><\/p>\n<p><\/big>So, to sum up, Rutgers picked one of the best states with strict gun laws, that had stop and frisk and a state with fairly permissive gun laws as representing \u201cstrict gun laws\u201d states.\u00a0 They then picked the very worst state among the pro-2A states, along with one of the worst of these states to represent \u201clax gun laws\u201d states.<big><\/p>\n<p><\/big>It seems clear that Rutgers had the result in mind before they started\u2026..<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rutgers Cherry Picks States To Produce Justification For Gun Control Since When Is Iowa, A Shall Issue Concealed Carry State, An Example Of Strict Gun Laws?
