{"id":64808,"date":"2021-02-14T03:49:03","date_gmt":"2021-02-14T09:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=64808"},"modified":"2021-02-14T03:49:03","modified_gmt":"2021-02-14T09:49:03","slug":"64808","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=64808","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nationalfile.com\/cbs-declares-youll-need-a-covid-vaccination-passport-to-travel-by-summer-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS Declares: You\u2019ll Need a COVID \u2018Vaccination Passport\u2019 To Travel by Summer 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Without a mention of privacy rights the mainstream media appears to be all in for making you \u2018show your papers\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>As the United States prepares to open back up after the unnecessarily long COVID lockdowns, the mainstream media is shaping the narrative that \u201cvaccination passports\u201d will not only be required for travel, but that they will arrive as a necessity by this summer.<\/p>\n<p>CBS News travel editor, Peter Greenberg, almost appeared gleeful when he predicted two things: that travel \u2013 both domestic and international \u2013 would most likely return this summer, and that there would be a prerequisite to being able to travel.<\/p>\n<p>Greenberg stated bluntly that in order to travel you will most likely need proof that you\u2019ve been vaccinated for COVID.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nationalfile.com\/poll-surveymonkey-claims-74-of-americans-will-accept-covid-passport-in-us-if-implemented\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vaccination passports<\/a>, he said, will be the new standard in travel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will be required,\u201d Greenberg said. \u201cThe real question is what technology will be available to create a universally acceptable and universally readable document that can\u2019t be forged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered\"><iframe id=\"twitter-widget-0\" class=\"\" title=\"Twitter Tweet\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/embed\/Tweet.html?creatorScreenName=Underground_USA&amp;dnt=true&amp;embedId=twitter-widget-0&amp;frame=false&amp;hideCard=false&amp;hideThread=false&amp;id=1357290572126519298&amp;lang=en&amp;origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnationalfile.com%2Fcbs-declares-youll-need-a-covid-vaccination-passport-to-travel-by-summer-2021%2F&amp;siteScreenName=nationalfile&amp;theme=light&amp;widgetsVersion=889aa01%3A1612811843556&amp;width=500px\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-tweet-id=\"1357290572126519298\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He noted that preliminary versions of a vaccine passport \u2013 or health passport \u2013 are being developed by several outlets, in both the public and private sectors \u2013 and in some cases a combination of both, around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Greenberg spotlighted the effort taking place in Denmark, pointing out that the Nordic nation is creating a digital passport for citizens that will contain all your current medical information that can be updatable on that digital card.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CBS News reporter, speaking with a level of authority usually reserved for higher-level medical professionals intimate with the COVID pandemic, said while digital versions of \u201cyour papers\u201d appear to be the goal, early models will likely be physical.<\/p>\n<p>One entrepreneur has come up with two versions of a vaccination passport, one for international travel and another for domestic. The international version has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nationalfile.com\/digital-health-passport-will-track-users-on-smartphones-determine-when-citizens-reenter-society\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">e-vaccine technology<\/a>\u00a0that is tantamount to an electronic version of your health records.<\/p>\n<p>His domestic \u2013 or basic version (without the e-vaccine technology), he suggests, would be more appropriate for domestic travel and daily interactions.\u00a0 Both versions hold information about which vaccine was administered, where it was administered, and when.<\/p>\n<div class=\"twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered\"><iframe id=\"twitter-widget-1\" class=\"\" title=\"Twitter Tweet\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/embed\/Tweet.html?creatorScreenName=Underground_USA&amp;dnt=true&amp;embedId=twitter-widget-1&amp;frame=false&amp;hideCard=false&amp;hideThread=false&amp;id=1357419223224627201&amp;lang=en&amp;origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnationalfile.com%2Fcbs-declares-youll-need-a-covid-vaccination-passport-to-travel-by-summer-2021%2F&amp;siteScreenName=nationalfile&amp;theme=light&amp;widgetsVersion=889aa01%3A1612811843556&amp;width=500px\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-tweet-id=\"1357419223224627201\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Greenberg told local reporters that vaccine verification would most likely become commonplace for cruise lines and some airlines as soon as July.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re gonna be asking for it at your point of departure and your point of entry,\u201d Greenberg said. He continued on saying additional places where you might be asked to \u201cshow your papers\u201d include airline ticket counters, passport control lanes, and Customs and Border Protection embarkation points.<\/p>\n<p>Lost in the madness to rush to vaccine documentation requirements are existing HIPPA laws and the very issue of privacy.<\/p>\n<p>The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) created a national standard for protecting sensitive patient information. Included in the Protected Health Information (PHI) are not only your name, social security number, address(es), phone number(s), test results, and diagnoses, but also personal and behavioral attributes that can help anyone \u2013 including travel industry companies \u2013 single out an individual.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution\u2019s Bill of Rights protects against illegal search and seizure,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/founding-docs\/bill-of-rights-transcript#toc-amendment-iv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">stating clearly<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe right of the people to be\u00a0<strong>secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects<\/strong>, against unreasonable searches and seizures,\u00a0<strong>shall not be violated<\/strong>, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Curiously, there have been no privacy advocate groups stepping up to challenge the encroachment into the privacy of Americans where the questionable subject of vaccine documentation is concerned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CBS Declares: You\u2019ll Need a COVID \u2018Vaccination Passport\u2019 To Travel by Summer 2021 Without a mention of privacy rights the mainstream media appears to be all in for making you \u2018show your papers\u2019.
