To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited<\/strong>, and for other purposes.<\/a><\/p>\n

When the name of your bill directly contradicts<\/em> the wording of the constitution you’ve probably made a mistake somewhere.<\/p>\n

Let’s use this same description for any other bill dealing with any right, especially an enumerated right.<\/p>\n

“To regulate raids, to ensure that the right against unreasonable search and seizure is not unlimited<\/strong>, and for other purposes.”<\/p>\n

“To regulate detentions, to ensure the right against cruel and unusual punishment is not unlimited,<\/strong> and for other purposes.”<\/p>\n

Plug in any other right and it sounds insane but there are people that view the description of this bill as a positive. That should be hair raising to anyone that knows history and appreciates their rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
