FISKING AN IDIOT: NFA ALL THE WAY<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cTake All The Guns\u201d<\/a>\u00a0has a \u201ccomprehensive plan to take all of the guns<\/a><\/i>.\u201d Perhaps this person isn\u2019t really an idiot, as the use of the hashtag \u201c#DisarmOurDemocracy\u201d is so over the top that it could be parody. But reading more of the new Twitter account\u2019s posts suggests it\u2019s for real.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n

Gun violence is an epidemic rivaled only by COVID-19 in our time. As we are taking progressive steps to eliminate COVID, so we should also work to eliminate guns in America. I have a plan that could result in a gun free America within a generation.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rivaled<\/i>\u00a0only by ChinCOVID? The CDC begs to\u00a0differ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Heart disease: 659,041<\/em>
\nCancer: 599,601<\/em>
\nAccidents (unintentional injuries): 173,040<\/em>
\nChronic lower respiratory diseases: 156,979<\/em>
\nStroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 150,005<\/em>

\nNephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 51,565<\/em>

Morbidly amusingly, that list conspicuously leaves out the\u00a0third leading cause of death<\/a>: medical errors.\u00a0Doctors.\u00a0<\/i>250,000 to 400,000 deaths per year. ChinCOVID comes in at\u00a0552,475<\/a>. Firearms?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Congress must add several Supreme Court justices to undo the harmful and immoral work done by the Trump administration<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

All right! Trump\u2019s only major firearm action was the bump-fire stock ban. We\u2019re gonna reverse that. Yippee!<\/p>\n

2. Pass a bill to add all existing firearms to the NFA Registry and give a refundable tax credit to offset registration fees. Close the registry after the initial 90 day registration period.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

90 days to register millions of new NFA firearms?\u00a0You\u2019re going to need a lot more clerks at the ATF<\/a>. And please note how discriminatory \u2014 against poor people and blacks \u2014 this is. They have to find two hundred bucks per gun\u00a0up front<\/b>. I guess only rich people need guns. For now.<\/p>\n

3. Pass a bill revoking Federal Firearms Licenses in interstate commerce. Authorize the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives to build a database of all gun purchases in the past 20 years using the 4473s held by the closed FFLs.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hmm. I wonder who is going to build and sell guns to the police and military. Dipstick here is killing all FFLs. And doing this so outright, I think we\u2019re going to seen the beginning of compliance issues. How cooperative in turning over 4473s and bound books will licensees be\u2026\u00a0after you destroyed their livihood<\/i>?<\/p>\n

4. Order the BATFE to begin a review of the existing NFA Registry and cross-reference the known records. Use the resources of the BATFE and FBI to track down any inaccurate records.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Saying \u201cexisting\u201d NFA registry is a little confusing. Does this person mean the current NFA database, or the new expanded database? Cross-referencing to 4473s? I supect this\u00a0weenie\u00a0dickless wonder<\/i>\u00a0(see below) has never done inventory work, and has no freaking idea how long it\u2019s going to take to digitize, sort, and cross-reference 50-plus years of records on hundreds of millions of firearms that have changed hands multiple times, often without going through an FFL. Not to mention locating\u00a0more than five million\u00a0reported<\/i>\u00a0lost and stolen guns in the wild<\/a>.<\/p>\n

5. Work with the major banks and credit card companies to purchase records pertaining to the private purchases of firearms to correlate with the 4473s as in step 4.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And now that job just got much, much,\u00a0much<\/i>\u00a0bigger and complex. I wonder if o\u2019 Taker is a global warming believer? \u2018Cause the carbon contribution for power generation for all that computation will be significant. Hell, the heat from the\u00a0computers<\/i>\u00a0doing the computation will be significant. Can\u2019t wait to see them do this on Green Raw Deal wind gennies and solar panels.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s where things get interesting. Up to now, all this assumes FFLs and gun-owning citizens would quietly and passively comply with this BS. I think that\u2019s a little\u00a0overly optimistic<\/a>, and what they\u2019re far more likely to see is\u00a0malicious compliance<\/a>, that simply makes the databasing and cross-referencing job impossible.<\/p>\n

But Taker here just upped the ante. Instead of a relative few\u00a0Heavily Armed, Noncompliant SOBs<\/a>\u00a0(HANSOB), who might merely passively resist\u2026<\/p>\n

6. Once a suitable period has passed to allow inconsistent records to be reconciled,\u00a0use a combination of civil and criminal sanctions to encourage those who are illegally holding unregistered guns to turn them in. This can include: using bank KYC rules to restrict their financial transactions, use the no-fly list to prevent interstate and international travel, use e-verify to prevent employment and use the social security database to contact existing employers.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Doxx and destroy. Make life impossible. No money. No work. No travel.<\/p>\n

No\u00a0anything left to lose<\/b>. It\u2019s like this nihilistic nincompoop\u00a0wants<\/i>\u00a0to start\u00a0Hunting Season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Thus the vast majority of firearms in private hands will be known and restricted within several months, the stragglers will be dealt with within several years, and within a generation guns will be out of private hands\u00a0without<\/strong>\u00a0repealing the Second Amendment or\u00a0causing a large scale violent conflict<\/b>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Without conflict? I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at a hypothetical southeast Georgia family. They\u2019re generally low to middle class, without a lot of discretionary income; that is, they don\u2019t have a lot of money to waste. They\u2019re probably going to have at least one shotgun (around here, likely one shotgun\u00a0per exterior door<\/i>), a hunting rifle or two, and a pistol and an old revolver. If they\u00a0wanted<\/i>\u00a0to comply with NFA registration, they\u2019d have to find $800 to $1,400 dollars for the tax stamps. Ain\u2019t happening.<\/p>\n

But say they had the money. Taker has given them\u00a090 days<\/b>\u00a0to get the stamps. it\u2019s currently taking\u00a0160-380 days<\/a>\u00a0to to get a stamp\u2026 with just the current quantity of transferable NFA firearms. It\u2019s\u00a0impossible<\/i>\u00a0to comply with a 90 day deadline now. And when you increase the firearms being processed from a few hundred thousand to a few hundred\u00a0million<\/b>, the processing time will likewise increase a thousand-fold; you\u2019re looking at as much as 35,000 days, almost a thousand\u00a0years<\/b>\u00a0to get the stamp.<\/p>\n

If it was just the folks who\u00a0refused<\/i>\u00a0to comply, Taker would be staring down \u2014 very conservatively \u2014\u00a012,000,000<\/b>\u00a0HANSOBs. Emphasis on the \u201cheavily armed\u201d part. Now it\u2019s the better part of\u00a0120,000,000<\/b>\u00a0people whom he\/she\/it\/zir\/fuzzy\/whatsit has chosen to doxx and destroy.<\/p>\n

Freedom\u2019s just another word for nothing left to lose<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I find \u201cTake All The Guns’\u201d Twitter handle ironic. Who exactly does this confiscative clown expect to do its dirty work? The police that the left is\u00a0demonizing<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0defunding<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Maybe they\u2019ll be following\u00a0\u201cDuke Nukem\u201d Swalwell\u2019s lead<\/a>\u00a0and use the military. Yeah; you know, the military that they\u2019re also\u00a0demonizing<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0neutering<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where\u2019s the irony in that? It\u2019s that \u201cTake All The Guns\u201d\u00a0itself isn\u2019t going to step up<\/a>\u00a0and personally kick in millions of doors\u00a0because<\/i>\u00a0the residents are well-armed:<\/p>\n

Having a hard time going to sleep tonight because of all of the guns that I know are still out there in private hands.<\/p>\n
