{"id":66380,"date":"2021-03-31T12:31:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T18:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=66380"},"modified":"2021-03-31T12:33:28","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T18:33:28","slug":"66380","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=66380","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/washington-secrets\/nra-challenges-bidens-clownish-gun-advice-kerrys-phantom-ar-16\">NRA challenges Biden\u2019s clownish gun advice and Kerry\u2019s phantom \u2018AR-16\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As the gun debate begins to heat up, the nation\u2019s gun lobby is pointing out what little President\u00a0<a class=\"autolink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden?utm_campaign=autolink&amp;utm_source=internal&amp;utm_medium=autolink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a>\u00a0and his team know about weapons or why people feel the need to protect themselves.<\/p>\n<p>In a new four-minute video, the National Rifle Association asks, \u201cWhy is it that the people who want to take our guns know absolutely nothing about them?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The video leaves the mockery of Biden, spokeswoman\u00a0<a class=\"autolink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jen-psaki?utm_campaign=autolink&amp;utm_source=internal&amp;utm_medium=autolink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jen Psaki<\/a>, and world climate czar John Kerry to key Republican shooters, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Texas Sen.\u00a0<a class=\"autolink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ted-cruz?utm_campaign=autolink&amp;utm_source=internal&amp;utm_medium=autolink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ted Cruz<\/a>, Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Burgess Owens of Utah, and North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I don\u2019t know much about nuclear weapons, but I don\u2019t think the untrained general public should be able to own those either&#8230;!<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Slater \ud83d\udc99 (@Grossberger101) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Grossberger101\/status\/1376914885276225537?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey really believe they know everything about everything, and they know nothing about guns,\u201d said Owens.<\/p>\n<p>The video opens with Biden\u2019s advice to his wife to ward off encroachers by taking a double-barreled shotgun to the balcony and firing a couple blasts. \u201cI promise you, whoever is coming in is not gonna,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, gun advocates explain, that&#8217;s not safe, she would then be out of ammunition, and none of the attackers would be injured.<\/p>\n<p>He continued by opposing AR-15s and the five or more rounds those rifles can hold, saying, \u201cyou don&#8217;t need 30 rounds to protect yourself.\u201d His advice: \u201cBuy a shotgun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Said Jordan, \u201cIt&#8217;s almost like, where do you start?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Owens suggested, \u201cHave him come to Philadelphia. Have him come to Detroit. Chicago. And, walk outside and use a shotgun and see what happens at that point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robinson added, \u201cAren&#8217;t warning shots illegal?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Pompeo said, \u201cYou know, Americans ought to have the right to defend themselves precisely the way that the Constitution and our founders understood it.
