Tim Scott declares America ‘not a racist country,’ and leftists step up to the plate to prove him wrong, hurling racist epithets<\/a><\/p>\n

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina made an eloquent, uplifting speech on behalf of Republicans, in response\u00a0to Joe Biden’s quasi\u2013State of the union address.<\/p>\n

He spoke of racial grievances, real ones, including a recent instance when the Washington Post’s bigfoot\u00a0fact-checker Glenn\u00a0Kessler attempted to debunk Scott’s\u00a0impoverished background in the Jim Crow South as somehow “privileged,” with revolting claims that\u00a0Scott “had it easy,” which was beyond horsehockey.\u00a0\u00a0Scott\u00a0left egg<\/a>\u00a0all over Kessler’s face.<\/p>\n

Scott spoke kindly of single mothers, such as his own.\u00a0\u00a0He spoke of his own failures and successes, and he blasted Biden for his divisive\u00a0diktats<\/em>\u00a0in his first 100 days, pointing out the many occasions when Republicans cooperated with Democrats and their big spending plans.\u00a0\u00a0He defended Georgia’s vote integrity law and focused on re-opening schools, putting the blame where it belonged: on greedy teachers’\u00a0unions.\u00a0\u00a0He radiated honesty and sincerity, which stood in stark contrast to fraudy, mendacious\u00a0Joe, who came off like\u00a0the banjo-player in\u00a0Deliverance<\/em>\u00a0as he spoke.<\/p>\n

It was a well received speech, based on pundit after-talk on the nets.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0transcript can be read\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That didn’t sit well with the left, which, true to form, reverted\u00a0to their\u00a0roots, put\u00a0on their white hoods, and hurled nakedly\u00a0racist insults at Scott as if to shame him for attempting to find common ground with Democrats and speak truth to power.<\/p>\n

#UncleTim, a riff on the racist epithet “Uncle Tom,” drew 15,000 hashtags on Twitter, as leftists\u00a0showed\u00a0their true colors.<\/p>\n
