{"id":67682,"date":"2021-05-08T18:47:33","date_gmt":"2021-05-08T23:47:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=67682"},"modified":"2021-05-08T18:47:33","modified_gmt":"2021-05-08T23:47:33","slug":"67682","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=67682","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.krtv.com\/news\/crime-and-courts\/man-shot-and-injured-in-front-yard-of-billings-residence\">Teen shoots man who tried to break into house<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A domestic disturbance ended when a man was shot in the leg in the front yard of a mid-town Billings neighborhood on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to Billings Police Chief Rich St. John, a teenage boy shot a man in the leg after the man reportedly tried to punch his way into the residence at 1438 Avenue B.<\/p>\n<p>St John said the incident began at a nearby restaurant as a disturbance involving a man and a woman. The woman retreated to the house on Avenue B where the man followed her. The man then punched through the glass window of the screen door.<\/p>\n<p>St. John said after the man punched the window, the teen confronted the man outside and shot several rounds from a handgun into the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The man then retreated to his car but came back a second time, and the teen once again shot several rounds toward the ground, hitting the man in the leg.<\/p>\n<p>The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injury.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sal--wrapper\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teen shoots man who tried to break into house A domestic disturbance ended when a man was shot in the leg in the front yard of a mid-town Billings neighborhood on Thursday morning.
