Now, random people tweeting on the internet are more accurate than the Times and their bias is frequently stark.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-4\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-300x250_4\" class=\"gpt-ad ad-250 text-center\">Here\u2019s the latest entry in the Unreality Olympics. Nationwide, the price of regular gasoline climbed by only half a cent to $2.97 on Monday from Sunday, even though the company could not set a timetable for restarting the pipeline. New York State prices remained stable at $3 a gallon, according to the AAA motor club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPotentially it will be inconvenient,\u201d said Ed Hirs, an energy economist at the University of Houston. \u201cBut it\u2019s not a big deal because there is storage in the Northeast and all the big oil and gas companies can redirect seaborne cargoes of refined product when it is required.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The problem with this? We can see all the videos of the long lines at the various gas stations around the East Coast, with some stations going dry and posting \u201cout of gas signs,\u201d as my colleague Jennifer Oliver O\u2019Connell\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/jenniferoo\/2021\/05\/11\/biden-is-the-new-carter-and-we-now-have-the-gas-lines-to-prove-it-n378032\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported.<\/a>\u00a0We can also see the stories of the prices going up. Do they actually have any real reporters at the New York Times or are they just so invested in protecting Joe Biden and not covering anything negative that facts have no meaning for them?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"my-4\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-300x250_5\" class=\"gpt-ad ad-250 text-center\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Here\u2019s Newsweek\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/gas-shortages-long-lines-after-colonial-pipeline-cyberattack-1590345\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">headline\u00a0<\/a>with a pretty good story on the subject: \u201cGas Shortages, Long Lines Across Southeast After Colonial Pipeline Cyberattack.\u201d They did a better job than did the New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>North Carolina has even\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/north-carolina-declares-state-of-emergency-over-colonial-pipeline-outage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declared a state of emergency<\/a>\u00a0to address any potential fuel shortages. of Transportation declared a State of Emergency<\/a>\u00a0in 17 states and D.C. on Sunday night, allowing them to lift restrictions on motor carriers and drivers working to deliver fuel by observation since I have a gas station across the street from where I am working here in Texas. It was $2.81 this morning. It\u2019s now gone up to $2.89. I\u2019d say that qualifies as a major surge, New York Times. And we\u2019re not even on the East Coast where the effect is said to be primarily hitting.<\/p>\n<p>As we also reported the gas prices were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/nick-arama\/2021\/05\/08\/energy-sec-jennifer-granholm-has-a-brainless-excuse-for-why-gas-prices-are-soaring-n376627\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already going up\u00a0<\/a>even before the cyber attack likely because of Biden\u2019s anti-energy policies such as shutting down the Keystone XL Pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>So exactly how did the New York Times miss all this? Bottom line?
