Signs Bill Barring Enforcement of Biden\u2019s Executive Gun Control<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Idaho Gov. Brad Little (R) signed legislation Monday to prohibit enforcement of the executive actions for gun control put forth by President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>One outworking of those executive actions has been the Department of Justice\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/08\/biden-doj-claims-weapons-parts-kits-are-firearms\/\">attempt to reclassify<\/a>\u00a0certain gun parts kits as \u201cfirearms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The executive actions are also expected to lead to DOJ action against AR-pistols with stabilizer braces.<\/p>\n<p>But KTVB\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ktvb.com\/article\/news\/local\/capitol-watch\/gov-little-signs-bill-to-halt-biden-moves-on-gun-laws\/277-4c980180-bc1b-4e4d-bd16-00b840b29921\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">reports<\/a>\u00a0that the bill signed by Gov. Little \u201c[prohibits]\u00a0Idaho government entities from upholding Biden\u2019s March executive actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/news\/best-states\/colorado\/articles\/2021-05-11\/idaho-governor-signs-bill-to-halt-biden-moves-on-gun-laws\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">notes<\/a>\u00a0the bill passed the House and Senate with veto-proof majorities and \u201ccarried an emergency notice, meaning it went into effect with Little\u2019s signature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new law is retroactive to January 20, 2021. It is designed to prevent \u201cIdaho government entities from enforcing executive orders, federal laws, treaties, agency orders and rules of the U.S. government involving firearms, firearm components, firearm accessories or ammunition that conflict with the Idaho Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Idaho Gov.
