{"id":69325,"date":"2021-06-27T00:57:06","date_gmt":"2021-06-27T05:57:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=69325"},"modified":"2021-06-27T00:57:06","modified_gmt":"2021-06-27T05:57:06","slug":"69325","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=69325","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdtv.com\/2021\/06\/20\/sheriff-victim-shoots-man-chest-attacking-her\/\"> Victim shoots man in the chest attacking her<\/a><\/p>\n<p>LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) &#8211; The Lewis County Sheriff\u2019s Office said a female victim was able to shoot a man who was choking her and threatening to kill her.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release put out Sunday evening, the Sheriff\u2019s Office said they along with the West Virginia State Police, responded to the 5900 block of Copley Road around 1 a.m. June 19 in regards to a shooting.<\/p>\n<p>On arrival, they found a man lying on the ground outside the residence with a single gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>The man found dead has been identified as 47-year-old John Frame.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies said Frame attacked the victim by striking her in the back of the head and then kicking her while on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The press release reads, \u201cMr. Frame then began choking the female while stating to her that he was going to kill her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It goes on to state, \u201cThe female was able to draw a small handgun from her pocket shooting Frame one time in the chest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the release, Frame released his hands from her neck and fell to the ground.
