Kyrsten Sinema Comes Flying in off the Top Rope After Democrats Surrender on ‘Build Back Better’<\/a><\/p>\n

It has not been a good couple of days for Democrats. Two days ago, the\u00a05th Circuit delivered a stunning rebuke<\/a>\u00a0of the Biden administration, denying their appeal of Trump\u2019s \u201cRemain in Mexico\u201d policy. Yesterday, Adam Schiff\u00a0got caught doctoring text messages<\/a>\u00a0during a January 6th committee hearing. Then today, the thermonuclear bomb went off.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joe Biden\u2019s \u201cBuild Back Better\u201d agenda was officially shelved<\/a>\u00a0after an agreement with Joe Manchin couldn\u2019t be reached. On that note, my prediction that Manchin\u00a0would stall things out<\/a>\u00a0into next year proved correct, and I still believe his ultimate goal is to kill it entirely in the softest way possible.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Of course, the Democrats needed an excuse for why they were punting on the president\u2019s chief policy priority, and some overpaid consultants settled on \u201cvoting rights.\u201d Sure, everyone who is legally entitled to voting rights already has them, but when you\u2019ve got nothing else, you\u2019ve got nothing else.<\/p>\n

Well, that great hope lasted for all of a few hours. Kyrsten Sinema has now come flying in off the top rope, destroying any hope that Democrats can pass a federal takeover of the country\u2019s elections.<\/p>\n

Dems shelved the Build Back Better bill – the cornerstone of the Biden agenda — to shift to election reform bills.<\/p>\n

And Kyrsten Sinema just stuck a fork in that. <\/p>\n
