These shells are aimed at the personal defense market. Crammed into their small 1 3\/4\u2033 hulls are six 00 buck pellets. The segmented pellets are designed to split in half on impact, doubling the number of wound channels left in the target. The buckshot is also designed to lessen the chance of overpenetration through walls. The pellets are copper-plated for increased target penetration, as well, and fly at 1,245 FPS (feet per second). When used in shotguns that are optimized for using shorter shells, the X2 Shorty shotshells offer a much higher tube capacity, giving you even more chances to make sure you\u2019re the one that\u2019s still standing.
