Joe Biden was unable to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine, but now the White House is considering a new strategy. According to\u00a0The Hill<\/em>, there\u00a0are active discussions<\/a> about \u201csending Vice President Harris to Warsaw, Poland, and Bucharest, Romania, in the coming days to show solidarity with Ukraine as it faces an escalating Russian invasion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe discussions involve sending Harris to visit troops stationed in Romania and potentially to the border with Ukraine, where a refugee crisis has seen more than 1 million people flee that country since the Russian attack,\u201d the report continues. \u201cThe trip could happen in the coming weeks, one source said, adding that there is no active dialogue about sending President Biden to the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA presidential visit is a heavier logistical lift,\u201d the source told\u00a0The Hill<\/em>. \u201cThe vice president has a smaller footprint and is historically more nimble.\u201d The White House declined to comment, but one official was sure to make it known that Harris has been \u201cdeeply involved in the administration\u2019s engagement with allies and partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harris spoke separately with the leaders of various European allies earlier this week to discuss Russia\u2019s invasion.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can expect the vice president will continue to engage with allies and partners on these issues,\u201d the official added.<\/p>\n

And how well have her diplomatic skills worked so far? Last\u00a0month, before Russia invaded Ukraine, Harris was at the\u00a0\u00a0Munich Security Conference, during which she threatened\u00a0Russia with \u201csevere consequences\u201d if they invaded Ukraine. That obviously worked out well.<\/p>\n

Republicans brutally mocked her visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cBiden is deploying Kamala Harris to Europe to help ease Russia-Ukraine tensions,\u201d Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)\u00a0tweeted<\/a> at the time.\u00a0\u201cRight, because she\u2019s doing so well with our southern border\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI doubt [Putin\u2019s] sitting back at the Kremlin right now shaking because Kamala Harris is over there,\u201d Rep Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), who sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee,\u00a0told Newsmax<\/a>\u00a0at the time. \u201cShe can\u2019t even find our southern border, much less the Ukrainian border. This is a joke, this is a travesty.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the failed trip, Harris continued to inspire zero confidence that she is capable of effective diplomacy or even understands world affairs. Earlier this week, in an attempt to explain the Russian invasion in layman\u2019s terms, Harris said in a radio interview that \u201cUkraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine, so basically, that\u2019s wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clearly, Harris doesn\u2019t know what she\u2019s doing, and for the White House to be even considering sending her back to Europe is a horrible joke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
