The 911 dispatcher was advised that the intruder had been shot.<\/p>\n<p>6 East Texans charged with solicitation of a minor from police bust<br \/>\nDeputy Brandon Morris responded and was backed up by Pittsburg Police Department Officers. Upon their arrival, the gun was secured.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was taken to a Pittsburg hospital by Camp County EMS and later airlifted to a Tyler hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s office said the investigation is still active and no further information is available at this time.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsfa.com\/2022\/04\/06\/chief-deputy-dale-county-homeowner-shoots-intruder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dale County homeowner shoots intruder<\/a><br \/>\nThe homeowner fired, striking the intruder in the head and sending him to a Dothan hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -A Midland City homeowner shot a man who attempted to break into his house early Wednesday, according to the Dale County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect attempted several ways gain entry into the home, including entering through a child\u2019s bedroom window,\u201d Chief Deputy Mason Bynum told News 4.<\/p>\n<p>The homeowner fired, striking the intruder in the head and sending him to a Dothan hospital with what Bynum described to News 4 as life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>He said there is no indication that the alleged intruder and homeowner are acquaintances.<\/p>\n<p>Bynum said the suspect\u2019s name will be released after his family is notified of the incident.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcci.com\/article\/polk-county-iowa-deputies-use-dna-evidence-to-charge-suspect-who-had-been-shot-in-home-invasion\/39653943#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Suspect who had been shot in home invasion faces multiple charges<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DES MOINES, Iowa \u2014 Polk County deputies have arrested a suspect who had been shot in a March home invasion.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened March 21 at a home near Bondurant. Deputies said a homeowner called authorities about a home invasion before firing shots at the intruder.<\/p>\n<p>Officers had been looking for 56-year-old Edward David Luncsford as a suspect in the crime. He was located on March 31 and arrested on an unrelated warrant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile being processed at the Polk County Jail, he was found to have injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Luncsford was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released back to the Polk County Jail. Detectives utilized video evidence, physical evidence, including DNA evidence, witness statements, and information obtained from other area law enforcement agencies to identify Luncsford as a suspect,\u201d Polk County deputies said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies said confirmation through DNA analysis by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation State Crime Lab helped in filing charges against Luncsford.<\/p>\n<p>Luncsford is charged with possession of burglars tools, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and trespass.<\/p>\n<p>He is being held in the Polk County Jail without bond on a parole violation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alleged home intruder shot in Camp County CAMP COUNTY, Texas (KETK) \u2013 An alleged home intruder was shot in Camp County early Thursday morning.
