Biden Is Truth-Challenged When It Comes to the Second Amendment (and Much Else)<\/a><\/p>\n Since taking office, Joe Biden has been busy weaponizing the federal government against Americans who make or desire to purchase firearms. Naturally, he defends this by trotting out false claims about the Second Amendment. A favorite of his is the statement that when the Second Amendment was adopted, people couldn\u2019t buy a cannon.<\/p>\n He\u2019s taken to task for that assertion in this\u00a0Truth about Guns post.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Since he first made that statement, it has been refuted several times, such as in\u00a0this article<\/a>\u00a0by Robert Wright.<\/p>\n Does Biden know or care? Of course not. The truth or falsity of a claim doesn\u2019t matter, only advancing his agenda.<\/strong><\/p>\n Even if it were true that the Second Amendment doesn\u2019t allow anyone to buy a cannon, that would not logically lead to his conclusion that the feds should prevent buying all kinds of other firearms.
