Irony Alert, as Biden Preaches: ‘You Shouldn’t Make Money While You’re in Office’<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cJoe Biden being Joe Biden.\u201d It\u2019s a thing. And that thing is not only getting more pathetic, such as clueless Joe\u2019s\u00a0Easter Bunny minder<\/a>\u00a0at Monday\u2019s White House Easter Roll, but also more mind-blowingly ironic and devoid of self-awareness. The latter brings us to the latest example.<\/p>\n

During his Tuesday remarks on the so-called \u201cBipartisan Infrastructure Law<\/a>,\u201d Biden did what he always does: embellished, took credit for things he didn\u2019t do, outright lied, and in one ironic as hell admonishment, declared: \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t make money while you\u2019re in office.\u201d (Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, and the majority of the members of Congress were last seen rushing for the exits.)<\/p>\n

Despite the long history of Washington politicians\u00a0of course<\/em>\u00a0making money while in office \u2014 and a hell of a lot of it \u2014 the 500-pound elephant in the room is Joe Biden himself, and his \u201cThe Big Guy\u201d cuts of his grifter son Hunter\u2019s shady business dealings in Ukraine and China.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s Joe, as\u00a0transcribed<\/a>\u00a0by Becker News:<\/p>\n

When I was running for office, you heard it a thousand times from me, that we\u2019re going build an economy me around you.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m so tired of trickle-down economics. And I never found that that trickled down on top of my head very much.<\/p>\n

I was listed\u2026 I had the great pleasure of being listed as the poorest man in Congress for 36 years. I still was making a hell of a lot more money than anybody else because I was getting a senator\u2019s salary, no kidding.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, well, \u201cno kidding,\u201d or whatever. Regardless of Biden\u2019s \u201cpoorest man in Congress\u201d schtick, Joe and \u201cDr.\u201d Jill have been able to amass an estimated net worth of\u00a0$9 million<\/a>\u00a0since he left the vice presidency. Whether or not Joe owns \u201coff-the-books\u201d assets in excess of his net worth is another story. At issue, of course, is how much money Biden has made from the aforementioned shady business deals with the aforementioned grifter son.<\/p>\n

But again, Biden\u2019s ironic statement of ironic statements from yesterday\u2019s remarks: \u201cI didn\u2019t think you should make money while you\u2019re in office,\u201d he claimed. Wait\u2014 let\u2019s replay the tape one more time:<\/p>\n
