Buffalo Shooter Reportedly Chose a New York Target Because of the State\u2019s Gun Control Laws<\/a><\/p>\n

The officially unidentified shooter who\u00a0opened fire at a Buffalo, New York grocery store<\/a>\u00a0reportedly published a racist, anti-semitic\u00a0180-page manifesto<\/a>\u00a0justifying his efforts to \u201cshow to the replacers that as long as the White man lives, our land will never be theirs and they will never be safe from us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The manifesto, which hasn\u2019t yet been confirmed as being authored by the Buffalo shooter, identifies the author as 19-year-old – from Southern Tier, New York.<\/p>\n

What was it about the Buffalo grocery store that convinced the shooter he\u2019d chosen the right target? New York\u2019s stringent\u00a0gun<\/a>\u00a0control laws played a big part.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose (REDACTED) for the place of attack?<\/strong><\/em>
\n(REDACTED) has the highest black population percentage (zip code *****) and isn\u2019t\u00a0<\/em>that far away. Plus NY has heavy gun\u00a0laws so it would ease me if I knew that any legally armed civilian was limited to 10 round magazines or cucked firearms.<\/em><\/p>\n

I replaced the name of the city to redacted because I\u2019d prefer that the FBI and local police\u00a0<\/em>don\u2019t know until the attack has started. After the attack can somebody switch it over plz?<\/em><\/p>\n

As for his choice of weapon \u2014 the same model used in the Sandy Hook shooting \u2014 the shooter apparently intended to spark another push for an \u201cassault weapons\u201d ban.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose firearms?<\/strong><\/em>
\nBecause they work, there are very few weapons that are easier to use and more effective\u00a0<\/em>at killing than firearms, especially the Bushmaster XM-15 I will be using. The effect it would\u00a0<\/em>have on social discourse, the extra media coverage they would provide, and the changes to gun\u00a0laws that will be pushed will all help my case.<\/em><\/p>\n
