For the parents that don’t like this new policy; If I<\/em><\/strong> were on the school board, I’d suggest the district have one school with no<\/em> armed security at all, and send all their<\/em> children there. Then make sure that it was widely known that all the schools, except for that one,<\/em> did have armed teachers as well as armed\u00a0 security officers.<\/p>\n

COBB COUNTY, Ga. \u2014 The Cobb County School Board approved a measure Thursday evening during its meeting to create a new position for some employees to carry guns on school campuses. The measure, however, does not include teachers.<\/p>\n

The school board approved the measure with a vote of 4-2. Teachers or anyone who oversees a classroom will not be allowed to carry weapons.<\/p>\n
