{"id":87422,"date":"2022-11-07T12:41:48","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T18:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=87422"},"modified":"2022-11-07T12:41:48","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T18:41:48","slug":"87422","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesfortis.com\/?p=87422","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/11\/05\/study-27-of-the-30-cities-with-highest-murder-rate-are-democrat-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Study: 27 of the 30 Cities with Highest Murder Rate Are Democrat Run<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"subheading\">A study published by the Heritage Foundation\u2019s\u00a0Edwin Meese III Center for Judicial and Legal Studies shows that 27 of the 30 cities with the highest murder rates are controlled by Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>FOX News\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/new-study-debunks-red-state-high-crime-claim-by-hillary-clinton-democrats\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">noted<\/a> that the study indicates \u201c27\u2026.[of the 30 cities] have Democratic mayors. Within those cities, there are at least 14 \u201crogue prosecutors\u201d either backed or inspired by billionaire Democrat supporter George Soros.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Signal\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2022\/11\/04\/democrat-run-cities-counties-have-a-murder-problem-report-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">reported<\/a> that the authors of the study\u2013Charles Stimson, Zack Smith, and Kevin D. Dayaratna\u2013noted, \u201cThose on the Left know that their soft-on-crime policies have wreaked havoc in the cities where they have implemented those policies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stimson, Smith, and Dayaratna added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is not hard to understand why \u2018reforms\u2019 such as ending cash bail,\u00a0defunding the police, refusing to prosecute entire categories of crimes, letting thousands of convicted felons\u00a0out of prison early, significantly cutting the prison\u00a0population, and other \u2018progressive\u2019 ideas have led to massive spikes in crime\u2014particularly violent crime, including murder\u2014in\u00a0the communities where those on the Left have implemented them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>The study undercuts Hillary Clinton\u2019s claim that Republicans\u2019 emphasis on crime and violence in Democrat-run cities was not valid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On November 3, 2022, CNN\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/11\/03\/politics\/hillary-clinton-crime-cnntv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">quoted<\/a> Clinton suggesting Republicans were \u201cjust trying to gin up all kinds of fear and anxiety in people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201c[The Republicans] are not dealing with it. They are not trying to tackle it.
