It now goes to the House floor for further consideration.\u00a0<strong>Please contact your state representative and ask them to SUPPORT HB 542.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.legislature.ky.gov\/record\/23rs\/hb542.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House Bill 542<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3ynjJAp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PHS 1<\/a>\u00a0prohibits colleges, universities, and post-secondary education facilities from restricting Second Amendment rights. Current state law does not prohibit law-abiding adults from carrying defensive firearms on campus, but institution policy may lead to expulsion or termination of employment.
