It\u2019s the End of Women\u2019s Colleges as We Know It, and You Know Why.\"Cartoon<\/a><\/p>\n

Wellesley College, an all-women\u2019s school that has long prided itself as a place for \u201cwomen who will make a difference in the world,\u201d has truly lost the plot.\u00a0 Currently, the school\u2019s\u00a0policy<\/a>\u00a0is that students who were \u201cassigned female at birth who identify as men are not eligible for admission,\u201d but students who were \u201cassigned male at birth who identify as women are eligible for admission.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, in reality, Wellesley hasn\u2019t truly been an all-women\u2019s college since 2015, when it last updated its policy to accept applications from biological males who identify as women. But even that policy allowing biological men to attend wasn\u2019t woke enough for the student body, which, on Tuesday,\u00a0voted in support of a\u00a0non-binding resolution<\/a>\u00a0to allow \u201ctrans men and nonbinary people who were assigned male at birth\u201d to be admitted as students.<\/p>\n

In addition to advocating for the admission of \u201cnonbinary\u201d and transgender students, the referendum also proposed implementing gender-inclusive language in the college\u2019s communication. This would involve replacing so-called gendered terms such as \u201cwomen\u201d with gender-neutral alternatives like \u201cstudents\u201d or \u201calumni.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0a report<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0The Wellesley News<\/em>, \u201cThe purpose behind a ballot question is to demonstrate how much support it garners among the student body. If a ballot question gains enough support from the student body, it could influence decisions the College Board of Trustees makes.\u201d<\/p>\n

But even if you believed that Wellesley was still an all-women\u2019s college when it allowed males \u201cidentifying\u201d as women, how can it continue to claim to be such when it will allow women who identify as men, or so-called \u201cnonbinary\u201d students, to attend? If the school abides by radical leftist gender ideology, trans men are men, and if they are men, you can\u2019t claim to be an all-women\u2019s school, can you? On top of that, if the school does allow \u201ctrans men\u201d to attend, then why not just drop all pretense of being a single-sex school and allow biological men who don\u2019t identify as transgender to apply to the school? If you\u2019re going to allow men who \u201cidentify\u201d as women, and women who \u201cidentify\u201d as men to apply, why not include men who don\u2019t suffer from gender dysphoria?<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s colleges have a long and rich history of providing education and opportunities for women, who were once excluded from higher education institutions. Sadly, there are only a small number left in the United States, and thanks to the transgender cult, I suspect it won\u2019t be long before all women\u2019s colleges are gone.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
