I\u2019m a comedian. As my wonderful friend and mentor Stephen Kruiser can tell you, comics find humor in the worst of conditions. Not only can I not see the \u201cfunny\u201d in the Tennessee shooting, I don\u2019t want to seek it.<\/p>\n<p>The trans movement asked for tolerance, then acceptance. Then they just wanted to use the restroom of their preference for their safety, despite a lack of violence against trans people and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/columns\/kevindowneyjr\/2022\/04\/25\/the-left-is-willfully-blind-to-transgender-attacks-on-kids-n1592505\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bushel full<\/a>\u00a0of trans attacks on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/news-and-politics\/kevindowneyjr\/2023\/03\/14\/but-this-never-happens-trans-dudette-arrested-of-molesting-day-care-infant-n1678116\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kids<\/a>. We allowed it. I regret that. A lot.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we are at a point where a 6\u20194\u2033 man named \u201cLia\u201d Thomas has been allowed to dominate women\u2019s college swimming, while the real women on the team were told to shut up and not complain about losing their accolades to Thomas\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0having to eyeball his twig and berries in the showers.<\/p>\n<p>Major publications like the\u00a0<em>NY Post<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>Daily Mail<\/em>, and even the\u00a0<em>Post Millennial\u00a0<\/em>have called \u201che\u201d a \u201cshe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>People have lost their jobs for refusing to play make-believe with the small portion of the country plagued by a mental malady called \u201cgender dysphoria.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite all the ass-kissing the trans crowd has enjoyed, they feel they are being \u201cgenocided\u201d out of existence. It wasn\u2019t enough that your day at the spa with your daughter was ruined by some naked, half-staffed dude in pigtails sharing the women\u2019s locker room with you. If you dared speak up, you were designated a bigot and told not to return. Riots\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/news-and-politics\/kevindowneyjr\/2021\/07\/18\/l-a-police-pummel-antifa-finally-n1462693\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ensued<\/a>\u2013even though that she-male was actually a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/news-and-politics\/kevindowneyjr\/2021\/09\/03\/shocker-trans-woman-who-exposed-himself-to-wi-spa-customers-is-actually-a-serial-sex-offender-n1475727\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">serial sex offender<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>FACT-O-RAMA!<\/strong>\u00a0The trans \u201cmovement\u201d has been fraught with violence, almost all of which has come from the left.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The truth is that the trans cult fanatics can\u2019t be appeased. When you give the transgenders an inch, they\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/columns\/kevindowneyjr\/2023\/02\/14\/why-is-the-left-pushing-straight-men-to-date-trans-dudes-n1670545\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">demand<\/a>\u00a0straight men start dating them.<\/p>\n<p>We could all have seven trans-pansexuals over for Christmas, but it can never be enough. Why? Because, as someone who has dated far lefties can tell you, we can\u2019t please crazy people.<\/p>\n<p>Gender dysphoria \u2014 transgenderism \u2014 is a mental illness. At least\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32345113\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">40%<\/a>\u00a0of transgender youth people will try to kill themselves. Indulging their sickness \u2014 instead of offering help \u2014 is, in my opinion, cruel. Yet the left \u2014 specifically the rich, spoiled, non-binary tots of Antifa \u2014 will literally riot if we don\u2019t bend the knee to the attention-starved dudette in a vintage store prom dress.<\/p>\n<p>We were ok with\u00a0<em>adults<\/em>\u00a0swapping their overalls for female undergarments, but as Americans, we can\u2019t sit back and watch the ill sink their hooks into confused kids, and apparently that\u2019s reason enough to kill six Christians.<\/p>\n<p>We gave the trans crowd everything they wanted \u2014 tolerance, acceptance, a key to the women\u2019s room, and trophies meant for women. It just wasn\u2019t enough. It never will be. That\u2019s the problem.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee, I fear, is just the beginning of what the trans dime museums believe is come-uppance for phantom bigotry against a tiny portion of the population.<\/p>\n<p>Or worse \u2014 far worse \u2014 they have to accept the fact that we just don\u2019t care how they live their lives.
