This is supra-cringe, trans-cringe.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s handlers invited the Air Force football team to congratulate them on their past season and rolled their charge out to meet them for a brief photo op.<\/p>\n<p>It would seem to be quite a simple task for a lifelong Swamp member: smile like you\u2019re greeting old friends, gladhand like only a plastic politician can, gracefully accept the gifts, smile for the cameras some more, and depart.<\/p>\n<p>But even that mission was too much for the alleged President to complete.<\/p>\n<p>Via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarytimes.com\/news\/your-military\/2023\/04\/28\/biden-awards-football-trophy-to-air-force-academy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Military Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>President Joe Biden on Friday awarded the Commander-in-Chief\u2019s Trophy to the Air Force Academy for winning football games against its rival U.S. service academies.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>\u201cSimply put, you can\u2019t talk about the soul of the nation without talking about our service academies,\u201d Biden told the team gathered in the White House\u2019s East Room. \u201cAnd you can\u2019t talk about the service academies without talking about duty, teamwork, service and excellence. That\u2019s all about you.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He was ostensibly \u2014 as evidenced by the cadets holding the items out apparently in anticipation of handing them off \u2014 supposed to take the signed football, the helmet, and the jersey of memorabilia. Instead, he took the jersey, stared into the abyss for a few moments, and wandered away aimlessly while the visibly confused crowd looked on.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden hosted the football team today! He was to be presented with a ball signed by the team, a helmet and a football jersey with his name on it. Was it a pure dementia moment of wandering off that is unfortunately common for affected people? Did the President make a boo-boo in his Depends? Unfortunately, because the White House is unwilling to give a straight answer to any question, it\u2019s up for speculation.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s not speculation is that it\u2019s very sad. It\u2019s elderly abuse. It should be criminal, and it\u2019s most definitely immoral.<\/p>\n<p>I dislike Biden passionately \u2014 corrupt sellout careerist goon that he has always been \u2014 but stuff like this stirs some sort of sympathy for him, and that makes me uncomfortable. I don\u2019t want to feel those sorts of things toward a creature like Biden.<\/p>\n<p>That the band continues playing throughout adds an extra element of surrealism somehow that\u2019s difficult to finger.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to being dystopian and depressing, it\u2019s also demoralizing. The apparent message through the optics appears to be \u201clook here, stupid, we\u2019re going to tell you this demented zombie is in charge of the country, and you\u2019re all going to take it and pretend it\u2019s true.
