The 2A is obviously about state militias!&#8221;<br \/>\nWell, here is correspondence from the Revolution which shows why.<br \/>\nThe Continental Army couldn&#8217;t arm recruits, and recruits showed up unarmed.<\/p>\n<p><em>Four guns for 100 men!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a constant refrain. <em>Arms needed.
