Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, in a series of social media posts that targeted the Congresswoman for her strong Second Amendment support.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Matthew Lee Comiskey sent five threatening tweets to Boebert that mentioned firearms and encouraged readers to do her harm. Take you down like Trayvon,\u201d Comiskey wrote a month later.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cDon\u2019t worry Lauren, someone is coming soon to show your face the 2nd amendment in practice with a copper jacket. Enjoy,\u201d Comiskey wrote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Boebert\u2019s pro-gun credentials are well known.<\/p>\n<p>Before the 36-year-old conservative was elected to Congress in 2020,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ammoland.com\/2020\/11\/co-congresswoman-elect-lauren-boebert-tells-ammoland-ill-defend-2a\/\" rel=\"\" data-uri=\"bb94306205a0f30130472a3b313a7677\">she owned Shooter\u2019s Grill<\/a>, a Western-themed restaurant in her hometown of Rifle, Colorado, where staff openly carried firearms.<\/p>\n<p>Boebert has earned A-ratings from Gun Owners of America, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and the National Rifle Association. In Congress, she is a member of the Freedom Caucus and the Second Amendment Caucus.<\/p>\n<p>During his sentencing last week at the Paul G. Rogers federal courthouse in West Palm Beach, Florida, Comiskey told the court he let his \u201cpersonal emotions get in the way of my common sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His mother told the court that her son\u2019s actions were \u201cout of character.\u201d Yeah right\u2026.<br \/>\nU.S. District Judge Robin L.
