That\u2019s the story after a video surfaced on Monday showing the president proclaiming \u201cI sold a lot of state secrets\u201d during a meeting at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>As RedState\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/bonchie\/2023\/06\/22\/biden-gets-confused-during-the-indian-national-anthem-before-high-stakes-meeting-n765310\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>, Biden hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi last Thursday, and things were as awkward as ever. At one point, the president faced confusion during the Indian national anthem, apparently mistaking it for his country\u2019s own. The next day, a state dinner was held in which Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/nick-arama\/2023\/06\/23\/biden-state-dinner-joes-lost-hunters-laughing-and-jills-struggling-with-her-dress-n765842\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brought along<\/a>\u00a0Hunter Biden, fresh off his guilty plea, despite the fact that AG Merrick Garland was there.<\/p>\n<p>But if that wasn\u2019t enough to convince you that nothing matters to the current administration, the president decided to announce the following in front of Modi and others.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Official White House transcript: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1E6SF5dSMf\">pic.twitter.com\/1E6SF5dSMf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1673448822628818944?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 26, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2023\/06\/23\/remarks-by-president-biden-and-prime-minister-modi-of-the-republic-of-india-in-meeting-with-senior-officials-and-ceos-of-technology-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Remarks by President Biden and Prime Minister Modi of the Republic of India in Meeting with Senior Officials and CEOs of Technology Companies<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He didn\u2019t even have to get to the second part before things went haywire, with Biden once again saying \u201canyway\u201d after obviously losing his train of thought in public. That happens very often to the president. Physically, his voice and pacing sound frail, almost as if he\u2019s tired or on medication. Then he just blurts out that he\u2019s \u201csold a lot of state secrets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Well, alrighty then. I suppose there are a few possible explanations here, some more likely than others. The first possibility is that Biden\u2019s dementia is hitting him so hard that he just accidentally admitted to doing what he\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/bonchie\/2023\/06\/13\/james-comer-shares-four-key-details-about-the-biden-bribery-scandal-n760556\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">credibly accused<\/a>\u00a0of, which is mishandling classified national security information and accepting bribes from foreign entities. Certainly, the president has had a bad case of advanced age throughout his tenure, and with his condition comes a tendency to just blurt out things he shouldn\u2019t. Who can forget him\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/sister-toldjah\/2022\/09\/28\/watch-joe-biden-searches-room-for-deceased-congresswoman-in-incredibly-awkward-moment-n634223\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">searching the room<\/a>\u00a0for a deceased congresswoman at an event set to honor her?<\/p>\n<p>I suspect that\u2019s not what happened here, though. It\u2019s more likely that his ongoing senility caused him to deliver another one of his patented \u201cjokes\u201d that leaves everyone in the room perplexed, wondering just what the heck is going on. I\u2019d challenge you to look at Modi\u2019s reaction in the video and try not to laugh. The Indian PM isn\u2019t taking anything that comes out of Biden\u2019s mouth seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Even still, it certainly takes a bit of chutzpah to make such a joke when you are currently under investigation for accepting bribes\u00a0<em>and\u00a0<\/em>you\u2019ve already been shown to have illegally held classified documents in your garage. Biden doesn\u2019t care, though, because as I said earlier, nothing matters. He knows he can say whatever he wants and the press will shrug. Compare that to the allegations of a Freudian slip that would be raging had this been a Republican president saying what he said.<\/p>\n<p>Past that, how does any of this help the United States? If you were Modi, having formed a strong, dependent relationship with Russia, would you change course to ally with Joe Biden? What comfort is offered in doing so? The White House isn\u2019t a retirement community, and there are real consequences to having a president who is so obviously out of it.
