Soon after a World Economic Forum partner was caught calling for an \u201cend\u201d to private car ownership<\/a>, a climate expert is warning that the push to cancel gas-powered cars is just a ploy to end private transport. The climate crisis is a hoax, but it\u2019s such a darn useful hoax for authoritarian globalists.<\/p>\n

Climate Depot\u2019s Marc Morano<\/a>\u00a0went on Fox Business Thursday and discussed how the Democrat and globalist push to replace gas cars with electric vehicles (EVs) isn\u2019t about helping the environment but restricting Americans\u2019 freedom of movement. \u201cThis really isn\u2019t about them driving an electric car,\u201d Morano said, highlighting how this is a top-down decision not based on popular demand. \u201cThis literally is \u2014 the banning of gas-powered cars \u2014 is being done just like a COVID lockdown without a vote,\u201d he added. From California to the Biden Environmental Protection Agency to Australia, leftists are trying to force ordinary citizens into a corner with their gas car restrictions.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Pew Research Center\u00a0published<\/a>\u00a0the results<\/a>\u00a0of its new survey on June 28, which found that \u201cLess than half of the [U.S.] public (40%) favors phasing out the production of gas-powered cars and trucks.\u201d It\u2019s also significant that EV batteries actually generate lots of\u00a0toxic waste<\/a>, so they\u2019re not better for the environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe intent is not to necessarily force people into an electric vehicle,\u201d Morano went on. \u201cThe intent is to collapse our plentiful freedom of movement and force us to use mass transit. They want us on the subway.\u201d It\u2019s a global collusion. \u201cThey want us on buses. That is what this is about,\u201d Morano insisted. \u201c[Former UK PM] Boris Johnson\u2019s transportation secretary said owning a car was outdated \u201920th-century thinking\u2019. They are rationing vehicle use. It\u2019s very simple. You can look at Cuba to see how that turned out; you are going to have a lot of used cars.\u201d<\/p>\n
