The Left\u2019s Culture of Death V: What Can We Do?<\/a><\/p>\n

This series I have been writing on, \u201cThe Left\u2019s Culture of Death” could go on, well, almost endlessly. \u00a0I have quoted a very, very small part of one book (Frank Dik\u00f6tter\u2019s The Tragedy of Liberation); he has three in his series, and they are about only one brutal Leftist, mass-murdering, totalitarian thug, Mao Zedong. \u00a0There are books on Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Castro, Che, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, Robespierre, etc. \u00a0This is my fifth article. \u00a0I doubt Townhall will let me write an entire encyclopedia\u2014which is what it would take to list all the horrors of the application of Leftist philosophy in the last 200+ years, the dominant philosophy of today\u2019s elite, including the Democratic Party of America.<\/p>\n

But then, what I have recorded in these articles is sufficient, or at least should be, to spur the interest of decent, intelligent people who truly care about their families and others. \u00a0If you are still skeptical, read Dik\u00f6tter yourself, and follow it up with other studies on Stalin et al. \u00a0The cure for ignorance is knowledge; sadly, there is no cure for stupidity and a closed, bigoted mind. \u00a0Hate can be overcome by love, but one must be willing, and too many Leftists have demonstrated they aren\u2019t. \u00a0Barbarity is cured by civilization, and Leftists don\u2019t want that, either. \u00a0Civilization isn\u2019t the road to totalitarian power. \u00a0Many na\u00efve believers always exist, and they are forever swept up in the torrent of true Leftism. \u00a0They don\u2019t open their eyes until it is too late. \u00a0\u201cI\u2019m a proud liberal!\u201d One Leftist recently emailed me. \u00a0He’s going to be a dead one if his side wins.<\/p>\n

But the history I have recorded in these articles is accurate and fairly portrays what the Left did in the 20th century in China, is still doing there and in many places in the world, and will continue to do wherever they have power and opportunity. \u00a0It is simply intrinsic to the Leftist worldview. \u00a0We know that because it is always the result of their philosophy wherever it gains ascendancy. \u00a0A tree is known for its fruit. \u00a0And they are doing it\u2014so far, in moderation in America\u2014but they will follow the Stalinist and Maoist mass murdering model if they ever feel they need to and can get away with it. \u00a0Keep buying guns and ammo, Americans; it is your best line of defense and might be the only salvation for the country.<\/p>\n

But the problem is…what can we do? \u00a0Leftism has infiltrated deeply into America and is making every effort to spread its tentacles as far and wide as possible. \u00a0Decent, God-fearing people are at a disadvantage. \u00a0We have morals; they don\u2019t. \u00a0We believe in the sanctity of human life; they don\u2019t. \u00a0We want to practice \u201clove thy neighbor\u201d and \u201cmind your own business;\u201d they don\u2019t. \u00a0Leftists practice hate and want to tell you how you MUST live, or you will be shot. \u00a0Conservatives try to teach people the best choices in life, too, but we don\u2019t kill people when they don\u2019t do what we suggest. \u00a0We CAN\u2019T kill people. \u00a0It isn\u2019t in the true philosophy of God-fearing people to do things like that. \u00a0Unlike Leftists, we aren\u2019t the kind of people who will line our enemies up against a wall and shoot them. \u00a0Leftists do that. \u00a0We can\u2019t, at least not to innocent people, six-year-olds, women, and poor farmers. \u00a0The Left has no qualms about it. \u00a0You and I do.<\/p>\n

So, again, what can we do? \u00a0We can fight, of course; we have every right to defend ourselves to the death if necessary. \u00a0But we can\u2019t commit mass murder like communists do. \u00a0We can\u2019t throw people into gulags and labor camps and work them to death. \u00a0We can\u2019t steal people\u2019s land and businesses and terrorize them if we don\u2019t like how they look (\u201cwhite supremacists\u201d). \u00a0That\u2019s what Leftists do. \u00a0That\u2019s what they have done, and that is what they will continue to do\u2014even in America. \u00a0And we aren\u2019t Leftists.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not saying we always must \u201cfight fair\u201d (all is fair in love and war?). \u00a0But mass murder is totally, well, it\u2019s simply beyond the capability of people like you and me. \u00a0We would never think of doing something like that or of stealing somebody\u2019s property and goods; honor simply forbids it, and most conservatives are honorable people. \u00a0So, again, that puts us at a disadvantage because we cannot use many of the weapons\u2014terror, mass murder, rape, theft, gulags\u2014that Leftists use. \u00a0A decided disadvantage, indeed.<\/p>\n

We can only win by the word, by persuasion, by faith in God; the gun is our last resort, and even then, only in self-defense. \u00a0But, as history is our witness, our hope is not great. \u00a0Decency, persuasion, and self-restraint can\u2019t stop bullets. \u00a0Our nation rose in decency and civility. \u00a0It will end in decadence and barbarity\u2014in other words, the path the Democratic Party is leading the country down right now. \u00a0The American people, from our Founding, have been some of the best people the world has ever produced. \u00a0Not perfect by any means, but by comparison, far superior to almost any other people’s history has ever witnessed. \u00a0And I have absolutely no hesitation in saying that. \u00a0And that sort of person, by the millions, still exists in the United States today. \u00a0I suspect the people reading this article are among them. \u00a0The problem is…are we outnumbered now? \u00a0That is a question I don\u2019t know the answer to. \u00a0Decadence and barbarity are rampant in America, including in the highest echelons of power. \u00a0Indeed, Joe Biden is the number one trash cheerleader. \u00a0Are good words and persuasive arguments enough to gain victory? \u00a0They never have been before.<\/p>\n

America produced great people, but there is nothing special about us as human beings. \u00a0That is what the Democratic Party is demonstrating to us today. \u00a0So, it may already be too late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
