Search and rescue efforts began immediately, including nearby U.S. military aircraft and ships. We will remember their service and their sacrifice.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"isPasted\">Although it&#8217;s unclear which military service the aircraft belonged to, the U.S.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/jeffc\/2023\/10\/15\/pentagon-is-doubling-us-military-presence-in-israel-to-deter-further-attacks-on-american-interests-n2165093\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently sent<\/a>\u00a0two aircraft carriers, the USS Gerald R. Ford and the USS Dwight D.
