Typically Tyrannical: Biden Admin Slips Out Slew Of ‘Regulations’ Over Holidays<\/a><\/p>\n

As tyrants so often do, on December 29th\u00a0the Biden Administration quietly slid out<\/a>\u00a0a \u201cslow-news\/Holiday-hidden\u201d announcement of many more \u201cregulations\u201d it is imposing on your market choices of home appliances.<\/p>\n

And to add insult to injury, it\u2019s all for their religion-like claim to be preventing a Kali-esque demigod, \u201canthropogenic climate change\u201d from destroying the world.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a false religion, backed by fake claims of \u201cscience\u201d and false claims of \u201csavings\u201d that they\u2019re imposing on you.<\/p>\n

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.<\/p>\n

Indeed, as American families gathered for the Holidays, the Biden Department of Energy (DOE) under slick, smarmy, \u201cenriched by stock options received from palsy corporations\u201d DOE head Jennifer Granholm and her cult released the\u00a0song of Kali<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nick Pope reports on it, for DailyCaller<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“The Department of Energy (DOE) finalized or proposed a bevy of regulatory actions cracking down on numerous appliances on Friday.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The DOE proposed new rules designed to promote \u2018energy efficient\u2019 commercial fans and blowers, and also finalized energy efficiency standards for refrigerators and freezers, the agency\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0Friday. The regulatory actions are the latest in a string of moves by the Biden administration intended to phase out a host of fossil fuel-powered appliances and replace them on the market with more energy efficient, and often electric, equivalents.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I suspect that you, too, might be wondering where their vaunted US Constitution hides the so-called \u201cauthority\u201d for the feds to create a DOE, let alone tell private makers of appliances what they can and cannot offer you to freely purchase or leave on the showroom floor. Perhaps, you, also, might be scratching your head over the easy way elitist bureaucrats and politicians claim to define for US what is \u201cefficient.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, you\u2019d better extend the sentiment of \u201cSilent Night\u201d to your potential protestations about those matters, because, of course, the mandates are for YOUR OWN GOOD, to stop their magic monster of \u201canthropogenic climate change,\u201d and if you should question either their mandates or their faulty claims of \u201cscience,\u201d you are an apostate of the new religion.<\/p>\n

And if you want an idea of what is targeted, even as you see how \u201cefficient\u201d the tax-fed writers of DOE are, here is the sub-head of their \u201cannouncement\u201d:<\/p>\n

And, now that\u00a0she\u2019s pocketed almost $2 million in stock options given to her by an \u201celectric vehicle\u201d bus company<\/a>\u00a0that she helped get fed money when she was Governor of Michigan (that company just filed for bankruptcy, juuuuust after she got to sell her stock), DOE head Jennifer Granholm has some holiday cheer to force on you, in all its propagandistic glory:<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019Today\u2019s announcement is a testament to the Biden-Harris Administration\u2019s commitment to lowering utility costs for working families, which is helping to simultaneously strengthen energy independence and combat the climate crisis,\u2019 Secretary of Energy\u00a0Jennifer Granholm<\/a>\u00a0said of her agency\u2019s actions. \u2018DOE will continue to move quickly in 2024\u2014together with our industry partners and stakeholders\u2014to update and strengthen outdated energy efficiency standards, which is critical to innovation, more consumer options, and healthier communities.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Curiously, all her cozy fascist terms like \u201cpartners\u201d and \u201cstakeholders\u201d and \u201cstandards,\u201d and her warmed-over populist pablum of \u201cworking families,\u201d \u201cconsumer options,\u201d and \u201chealthier communities\u201d are, under this paradigm, defined and controlled by the government and represent favoritism and\u00a0force.<\/p>\n

The government uses terms such as \u201cregulation,\u201d and \u201crule,\u201d and \u201cstandard,\u201d as replacements for the real term \u201cstate threats,\u201d and to cloud their moves to push around makers, sellers, and buyers who have their own goals, their own calculations about what is \u201cefficient\u201d and their OWN FREEDOM to be left the heck alone.<\/p>\n

But, regardless of ethics, regardless of economics being fueled by the freedom of consumers and sellers to show their preferences and inspire suppliers to keep reducing costs and improving their products in order to beat other suppliers, Granny Granholm seems to think she knows best.<\/p>\n

Rather than choice, she imposes, mandates, and threatens.<\/p>\n

The time of year makes no difference. Some of us notice, and we can tell others about the dangerous deceivers who work to destroy even our choices for appliances.<\/p>\n

The more of our friends who know, the better our chance of stopping this kind of activity from these and future generations of busybodies and bullies.<\/p>\n
