Did you know apple pie is racist? Because they’re now telling us apple pie is racist.

As a SJW, what do you see when you look at apple pie? Racism and genocide, of course.

Apple pie is next on the chopping block and is getting canceled after Raj Patel wrote a lengthy review in the Guardian titled, “Food injustice has deep roots: let’s start with America’s apple pie.”

According to his Wikipedia page, Patel has been referred to as “the rock star of social justice writing.”
“Rock star”

Naturally, he had to find the next thing to cancel and cry “genocide” at.

Patel discuses something called “commodity fetish” which he claims if you “Scratch the surface of a bar of chocolate, a tuna sandwich, or even a chicken nugget, you find the horrors of international trade: violence, exploitation, poverty and profit.”

Crazy People Are Dangerous

Say hello to Everton Brown, a man from Baltimore, Maryland, seen here in a YouTube video from 2010, protesting at the White House, claiming that he was being targeted for harassment by the FBI.

Brown was not targeted by the FBI. He was crazy.

And what do we know about crazy people, boys and girls? We can leave it to professionals to provide a clinical diagnosis — paranoid schizophrenia, most likely — but when someone organizes their entire life around the delusional belief that they are a victim of persecution, nothing prevents citizens from concluding this person is crazy:

Everton Brown believed that drones were following him. He thought the FBI was breaking into his house to feed his dog and worried the authorities were tampering with his computer.
That’s according to records kept by Baltimore County police, whom Brown called more than 100 times over the past 24 years. Neighbors, too, called police to the Woodlawn neighborhood. They say Brown harassed them and yelled from his porch through a bullhorn.
Despite decades of encounters with local authorities, Brown’s actions continued until they had tragic consequences. Last Saturday morning, police say, Brown, 56, set fire to his home, then shot and killed three neighbors. . . .
Authorities say Brown killed three people: Ismael Quintanilla, 41, Sara Alacote, 37, and Sagar Ghimire, 24. County police officers shot and killed Brown.
Little is publicly known about Brown. He was licensed as a commercial driver in Maryland until 2019 and had owned his home in the Parkview Crossing town house community since 1996, public records show.
County police say Brown had “numerous” contacts with law enforcement, including with the department’s crisis team. Three peace orders had been filed against him since 2008, they said.
The police department did not answer questions from The Baltimore Sun about whether the officers ever took Brown to a hospital for an emergency psychiatric evaluation or how many times he interacted with the crisis team, citing state laws about the confidentiality of health records.

See how this works? The law apparently does nothing to protect you from crazy people, but “the confidentiality of health records” does prevent you from finding out how many times this kook got turned loose.

Quote O’ The Day:
Nothing says ‘scientific integrity’ like a public indoctrination program. – Prof Glenn Reynolds

Comment O’ The Day:
The truly funny thing about the whole escapade is the title of the article. Science is NOT a belief system. It is a series of connected, testable hypotheses that form theoretical constructs. There is no PROOF in science. There is only empirical support for a given hypothesis. You can’t “believe” in science.

Do You Believe in Science? Then Take This Pledge.

“Trust in evidence-based, scientific facts is essential for providing sustainable solutions to today’s challenges,” it says. “By adding my name to this declaration and pledge, I recognize the key role that scientific research and discovery play in improving quality of life for all.”

BLUF:
This redefinition follows a new trend. When the Left doesn’t like something and can’t bring it down with sound arguments, they change the meaning of the word.

DICTIONARY CHANGES MEANING OF ‘ANTI-VAXXER’ TO ANYONE WHO DOESN’T SUPPORT MANDATED VACCINES

The Merriam-Webster dictionary changed its definition of “anti-vaxxer” to mean anyone who opposes laws that mandate vaccination.

Not joking:

Tesla on autopilot attacks tree

Two killed in huge blaze after driverless Tesla crashes into tree

Two men perished inside a Tesla Model S that was zooming along a Texas roadway with no one behind the wheel — when the car crashed into a tree and sparked a massive fire.

The smash-up happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in The Woodlands, a neighborhood in Houston, with the blaze continuing for four hours.

One of the men was found in the front passenger seat while the other was in the back seat, Harris County Constable Mark Herman told KHOU 11. The pricey automobile has an “autopilot” function, though it wasn’t immediately clear if it was in operation.

Arizona woman finds tires slashed and a severed finger in her driveway.

MARICOPA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – A couple in Maricopa woke up to their tires slashed and a severed finger in the driveway on Thursday morning.

“I literally have been laughing all day because if I don’t, I might cry,” said Francesca Wikoff.

The truck belongs to the Wikoff family. Wikoff, a former volunteer firefighter and EMT, has the stomach for this sort of thing. “It’s pretty comical. You would think that if you’re gonna go to the hospital, especially if you just severed your finger off, that you would take said finger with you,” said Wikoff.

Tires slashed finger found
Wikoff believes the tire slasher cut her back tire then cut his finger off on accident.

Wikoff believes the tire slasher cut her back tire then cut his finger off on accident. “We assume it happened at 10:30 last night because we had our neighbor that lives next to him heard a loud scream and then a car speeding off,” said Wikoff.

The Maricopa mother believes the finger belongs to her neighbor because they argued with him the night before and a trail of blood leads to his house. “I don’t find joy in anybody hurting themselves. However, karma has a good way of working itself out,” said Wikoff.

The neighbor wasn’t home Thursday and Wikoff said he hasn’t been home all day. Arizona’s Family reached out to the Maricopa Police Department and haven’t heard back. Wikoff said no arrests have been made, only the finger so far has been taken in custody by police in a brown paper bag. “Well, I got the better hand,” said Wikoff.

And it’s only Thursday. Just think about ‘Florida Man Friday‘………

Florida driver blasts through a gate and successfully jumps an opening drawbridge.

Stupid? Yes. Dangerous? Yes.
Impressive? Channel your inner Randy Savage

Florida Man was ON THE GAS and his windshield was intact as he approached the gate arm

He blasted through the gate without a care in the world

“The drawbridge was not yet completely open,” you say?

True.

But HE GOT AIR. All four tires left the pavement:

And then he’s off into the sunset:

What was the source of his dogged determination to Dukes of Hazzard this drawbridge?

We’ll never know. But he set his mind to it and he did it.

Man arrested for creating fake army unit

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A Chinese man was arrested for creating a fake U.S. Army unit and convincing immigrants that joining the squad was a path to citizenship, authorities said.

Yupeng Deng, 51, allegedly gave his recruits military uniforms, had them parade in a Los Angeles suburb and took them to the decommissioned USS Midway aircraft carrier, which is a museum in San Diego.

Deng charged more than 100 fellow Chinese nationals a fee of between $300 and $450 to join the fake Army unit, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

He called his bogus squad the U.S. Army/Military Special Forces Reserve unit, or MSFR for short, and he gave himself the lofty title of supreme commander, prosecutors said.

Aside from telling recruits that belonging to the unit was a path to U.S. citizenship, Deng also urged them to pay him cash for higher military rank, according to prosecutors.

He also allegedly provided them with fake documents and phony military identification cards.

Deng, a resident of the Los Angeles suburb of El Monte, was arrested on Tuesday by sheriff’s deputies.

He was charged with theft by false pretenses, manufacturing deceptive government documents and counterfeit of an official government seal.

Deng faces up to eight years in prison if convicted. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, and is being held on $500,000 bail.

Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the District Attorney’s Office, declined to comment on how Deng was caught.

“All the details and evidence will come out in a preliminary hearing,” she said.

This is what you get in a nation that has no guarantee of rights.

LGBT activists sue Canadian pastor for preaching biblical sexuality
‘Our services are our services,’ the pastor said in response. ‘You don’t go into a bake shop and ask them to fix your car. Then you can’t come into a Christian church and expect us to convey messages that we don’t agree with.’

Back in 2019, I noted that the LGBT movement would methodically begin going after clergy for sermons. Most sermons and homilies are posted online; with laws that increasingly expand the definition of hate speech and sustained campaigns to portray Christian organizations at hate groups, it was only a matter of time before activists set to work trawling the hours of content hunting for any expression of heresy against LGBT orthodoxy. Any expression of the biblical view of sexuality and gender makes clergy a target.

The media is happy to help. In 2019, when a Catholic priest from Calgary was targeted for a homily in which he condemned the rainbow flag, the Toronto Star’s headline unabashedly sided with the activists: “Calgary priest under fire for homophobic remarks.”

Now, Pastor Terry Murphy of Victory Church in Regina, Saskatchewan, is under fire by LGBT activists for a March 6 online sermon defending biblical sexuality, in which he noted that today’s trans movement and the promotion of gender fluidity can be a form of child abuse.

President Puppet Finally Schedules a Press Conference.

President Joe Biden will hold his first press conference on March 25, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed on Tuesday.

The press conference will take place on his 64th day in office, making this the longest period in the 100 years that a new president has not held a solo meeting with the mess. According to Fox News, President Donald Trump held his first press conference 27 days into his presidency. President Barack Obama’s first presser was 20 days into his administration and President George Bush’s was in office for 33 days before his first press conference.

The news comes after the press repeatedly asked Psaki when Biden was planning to hold a press conference. The White House has used the pandemic to curb the number of reporters in the briefing room and requiring some reporters to submit questions prior to one of Psaki’s briefings, the New York Post reported.

Full disclosure: I was one of the those people who thought that the Democrats would have hit President Biden with a 25th Amendment coup by now. After a while I realized that they prefer having him in place and pulling his puppet strings. They type up the executive orders, tell Ol’ Gropes to sign them, and the dismantling of the Republic proceeds apace………….

There is something deliciously Biden-esque about the announcement coming so many days before the event. It’s like they are basically admitting that he needs a lot of prep time to take a few softball questions. We’re not really going to believe that the press corps is going to grill Biden with serious questions, are we? Maybe they’ll go the Obama route and ask him what he’s found most enchanting about the presidency so far.

No, America’s shame is that this president can’t string three sentences together without a month of practice. The press corps will be complicit in making sure that the event is something they can heap praise on Biden for later. Sadly, the bar is so low for him that if he simply manages to avoid chewing on his toes while he’s up there they’ll call it a success………..

Japan’s Gun Laws Worked So Well They Need to Ban Crossbows

TOKYO—It’s been said that if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns—but that’s not true in Japan, which has some of the strictest laws on the books forbidding the possession of guns, and imposes even harsher penalties for using them. If you fire a gun at someone here, you’re likely to spend more than 20 years in jail. The severe penalties even deter the yakuza, Japan’s organized crime syndicates, from using firearms. In 2017, there were only three people killed by gunshots in the entire nation.

But human beings will always find ways to kill each other and, as it turns out, when you outlaw guns in Japan outlaws will resort to other deadly weapons—like crossbows.

Thwack.

Now, the Japanese government is considering banning most people from buying, selling, or owning these semi-automatic bow and arrows. After a series of horrific crimes using the weapons there are now pending revisions to Japan’s laws which will limit their usage to sports and tranquilizing animals. The new revisions are expected to be passed in the current session of the parliament.

China Is Creating a New Master Race

  • “U.S. intelligence shows that China has conducted human testing on members of the People’s Liberation Army in hope of developing soldiers with biologically enhanced capabilities,” wrote then Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, in a December 3 Wall Street Journal op-ed titled “China Is National Security Threat No. 1.”
  • All these Chinese moves are meant to obtain “biological dominance.” “There are,” as Ratcliffe noted, “no ethical boundaries to Beijing’s pursuit of power.”
  • The experiment evoked the eugenics program of the Third Reich to create a “master race.”
  • Shenzhen’s He [Jenkui], after an international uproar caused by news of his dangerous and unethical work, was fined and jailed for “illegally carrying out human embryo gene-editing,” but in the Communist Party’s near-total surveillance state he obviously had state backing for his experiments…. Beijing’s prosecution of He, therefore, looks like an attempt to cool down the furor and prevent the international scientific community from further inquiry into China’s activities.
  • “What is most disturbing about these endeavors is that China has gleaned access to CRISPR and advanced genetic and biotech research, thanks to their relationship with the United States and other advanced Western nations. American research labs, biotech investors, and scientists have all striven to do research and business in China’s budding biotech arena… because the ethical standards for research… are so low.” — Brandon Weichert, author of The Weichert Report and Winning Space, interview with Gatestone Institute, February 2021.

China’s regime does not have ethics or decency, is not bound by law, and does not have a sense of restraint. However, with its rapid weaponization of biotechnology, it does have the technology to start a whole new species of genetically enhanced, goose-stepping humans. Trust the Science? LA County Health Dept. Bans Restaurants from Having TVs On for Customers

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced new COVID-19 restrictions on restaurants now that the outdoor dining ban has been lifted that have people once again scratching their heads.

The Public Health Department is banning restaurants from having TVs on for their customers to watch programming while they are eating.

“Televisions or any other screens that are used to broadcast programming must be removed from the area or turned off. This provision is effective until further notice,” the order states. It appears the order was created to curtail gatherings at restaurants for the upcoming Super Bowl LV, which will pit the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on February 7.
